I saw Gal Force when i was like 6 or something, and since i was used to all that disney stuff this was something totally diffrent, people were dying all over the place and shit, i was like ....
I don't really know how i got into anime, i geuse that i've always liked sieres like yu yu hakshow (can't really spell it lol) anyway, i'vewatch anime praticalley all my life, and i belive its only going to get more popular becuase of our generation growing up with anime.
Watched Toonnami back in '95(I feel so old for saying that), then got into it a little more from dome friends, then a friend let me borrow a copy of Trigun Max manga and thats how I got into the mangas
My friend convinced me to watch Gundam Wing when I was in 8th grade and I loved it. I rewatched it recently, and it's still quality stuff. From there got into more stuff, and luckily, hit a lot of good stuff(Mononoke, Ghost in the Shell, Trigun) early on, which kept me enthused, even through some of the complete drivel that would be shown on TV later.
my dad brought home ghost in the shell wen i was 8 and i loved it then in 2004 i downloaded loads of amv's mostly ff stuff but i found escaflowne as well and loved it started watching for a wile then lost interest then in 2006 i saw kiki's delivery service and loved it it came at a rely bad time for me and cheered me right up then i saw elfen lied on youtube and started collecting from there. :D
Sailor Moon around the ripe-for-corruption-and-influence age of 11. Reason why I started liking girls at such a young age and why skirts are such a beacon for me. =B
Friend of my brother made me watch a hentai video at the age of 6 just for the fun of it. (Saying it was awesome anime)... always wondered what those tentacles were doing.
Only thing i can remember from that hentai-tape is that some woman was giving that guy a b-job while driving and all of a sudden tentacles appear and kill the guy - abduct the woman. meh~
