How did you get into anime?

Started watching anime 5 years old, it was Voltes V, if voltes V was considered an anime. Then if not, I was 6 or 7 years old which was Zenki, then Yu Yu Hakusho, then dragon ball, and progressing.

Toonami: Sailor Moon, DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, and Gundam are the earliest animes I remember seeing.

Got into anime because of a local Blockbuster( man I miss those). Rented a few: Lodoss Wars, Noir, and Ghost in the Shell to see what the fuss was about.

I was randomly changing channels and found Animax. I don't know exactly when I started watching anime regularly, and what anime I first watched, though.

I used to watch Cartoon Network a lot. I started watching DBZ, Inuyasha, and Case Closed. I also watched Pokemon, but everyone did at that time. By then, I had a good understanding that those were anime shows, and I went online to search for more.

I searched for porn, and I saw hentai picture. Natuto had a good time whit Sakura. Soon after that I found fakku, I saw many-many doujins, and after that I got interested in the origins of those doujins. Well not the usual way, but it worked for me. lol

My sister. She got some magazines at first but the one thing that got me hooked was when she got a dvd player and some anime dvds. The rest as they say is history.

i was bored soo While was on work my my grandparents was out
i decide to look at his room and i find a lots of things Magazine,CD,Toys,Cards, Porn Mag, Doujin, Hentai ( Actually i didn't know what Porn and Hentai Back then I was 6 years old back then soo i don't know what's that its)
Anyway I read his Comics for Hours then i saw his CD and watched it after that i saw a Japanese Doujin i read it i was Clueless back then but i didn't understand what's happening back then but all i know is I like it....
when they come back They're surprise that I'm Watching Anime Dragon Ball, Sailormoon, Mojako, Doraemon and etc.
I guess that's what it started

I think I started with Digimon, but wasn't obsessed with it. What got me really hooked was Elfen Lied at age 15.

For some reason I was playing some flash games on a site and someones comment caught my eye. It said "fuck this game is horrible compared to the anime". In my head I was thinking "what the hell this crazy ass game has a video or something?" Looked up the first episode in Japanese with subs and was hooked.
