How did you get into anime?

Toonami in like 5th grade.

5th grade how old are you?

Hmm... was kind of a 3 step progress:
A) Watched some (screwed up sounding) german dub of Hellsing. Thought 'twas okay, though nothing special (Who in the blue moon censors blood in Hellsing?!!!)
B) Guild in World of Warcraft started speaking about different anime's in one of those "half past 3 in the morning" TS sessions. Thought "heck, I'll check it out if only to understand what they are talking about". (was like 2 or 3 years back)
C) Went "Oh actually it is nice" and got hooked up on Bleach (without fillers), GITS, Noir, Death Note and tons of others one by one and kept watching.

Same here... I was watching Inuyasha in Toonami, but didnt get all epis... I looked for and watched the episodes, and later my friend Introduced me for Naruto... I watched all the series, but just couldnt get enough of Anime, and i ended up like...this...

the earliest i can remember is space battle ship yamoto, voltron, and thundercats. what realy made me think about anime was in junior high i saw the movie Akira. i still watch all kinds of animation, even spongebob and the like. alot of so called kids shows have some very adult humor. for instance, there was a suicide joke on spongebob the other day, and the show "home movies" was on with the after school cartoons the first time i saw it. now it's on adult swim.

Naruto isn't small serie... It has 255 Naruto episodes and like 5-100 Shipuden eppisodes... I can't remember really...
Death Note is small serie...
It has like 37 episodes...

Dragon Ball. Back when I was about five years old or so. Went from there.

sailormoon waaaay back when i was lil... then Cardcaptor Sakura when i was like.. 11 or 12..
but id say its my bf who really got me into watching anime. elfen lied, death note and ergo proxy got me hooked :D

I always watched DBZ when it was on Toonami, but at the time (I was 12) I didn't know what anime was, so I thought DBZ was just like any other show. When I was 13 my cousin made me watch Princess Mononoke.. then I found out what anime really was, and it expanded from there.

Soon after I also found out what hentai was >.>

Dragonball/Dragonball Z. The only anime that I'll never forget about.

I got into anime before I knew what the hell it was. It started off with the kiddy shit they used to show on Nickelodeon, followed by Ronin Warriors.

The final nail was when I saw Ninja Scroll for the first time.
