Mine:
3rd place) Lovely Complex- When this anime came out, it felt so fresh and so pleasing to watch. I eagered like a madman for the next episode. Oh boy now that was an addicting one.
2nd place) Clannad- Not a surprise. And many of you must've felt the same thing. Not a day went by that I did not think about the next episode that was going to come out. Also, top notch everything made the anime go way beyond awesome.
1st place) Initial D- Yes, no anime has made me any more pumped than Initial D. I was so hypnotized by it that I devoured all 3 seasons and movie in a matter of days. The openings turned up the heat, the eurobeat soundtrack made me sing along and dance, and the races topped it off perfectly. Truly a masterpiece. It may be almost 10 years old, but it's one of the best animes i've ever seen. And even now I still get pumped when watching it.

I'd have to go with Planetes, Rocket Girls, and Ouran High School Host Club, all of which I have watched more than once. They aren't the only ones, but I can't think of anything else other than Toradora, breaking the three show rule.
Clannad and Love*Com were both great, and I'm reading Initial D, which got me interested in manga.

Not my top animes or anything (the better ones usually required a proper mindstate for me to continue watching or proved their full brilliance only after they ended) but simply shows that due to their genre, pacing, directing, publicity, etc ... managed to become the absolute center of my attention while they were being aired.
3rd: Many to choose from but I'll go with something slightly more recent - Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~. Be it because it lacked competition or for any other reason but at some point I found myself craving for more and more of it. Claymore might have claimed this spot but the final quarter of the show butchered my overall enjoyment.
2nd: Macross Frontier. Should be fairly obvious by now that I'm a sucker for these types of series and the way this one looked/sounded made it all the more win.
1st: No way near my favorite anime and not without flaws but still ... Geass. Nothing ever came close to gluing me to my seat as strongly as this flashy contraption.
edit/ Honorable mention ... I forgot to mention - Kara no Kyoukai, duh. If only there was more of it ...

Reason for being was this kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more. The kira and L rivalry was unforgettable.

Was good. Every Episode was intense and don't know what might happen next. Even though they rushed it. It is still good.

Good. Every Episode was surprising. I always laugh. Especially the Stupid bat.

A Good Anime. I don't know how to describe it. It's just too good. ARGHHH!! Full of laughter, intense fighting and a little drama. I want Luffy's power!!

Well I have to say that dosn't happen to me much but I guess I could pick out 3.
In no order.
1. Darker than Black- I don't know why but it keeps drawing me in somehow I don't know how it dose it but the only way I could stop is when I'm forced away.

2. Eureka 7: The op of this anime pulled me in. I enjoyed the chemistry between Eureka and Renton.
1. Toppa Tengen Guren Langan: This anime kept my heart pumping every episode. Maybe because I'm a mecha otaku and a oppai lover I still remember the feeling while watching this anime when it first came out.[/list:u]

3. ToraDora! - I'm not sure if this actually shouldn't be second, or even first actually, but fuck, it's such a awesome anime, such a awesome light novel... I love it! TT_TT It's so sad, and so happy, and so... Well, it gets a third place AND a honorary First place or something.
2. Lucky Star - Cause I LOVE Konata, and its slow-paced style is awesome, you can just open up any episode at any time and sit like glued no matter how many times I watch it.
1. Hajime no Ippo - Not at all my favorite anime, but it is a fukken awesome serie, seen the first season of the anime like 3 times, and I'm still pumped at every match. Is fukken awesome.

Clannad- Of course.
Mushishi- This series is so beautiful, it's just amazing to watch and since there's really no underlying plot you can pretty much pick up any episode and enjoy over and over again.
Detective Conan- I watched this nearly every night as a kid, I'd rage when they would air part 1 of a 2-part arc on a Friday and part 2 on Monday. I'd have to wait a whole damn weekend to see what happened.
Mushishi- This series is so beautiful, it's just amazing to watch and since there's really no underlying plot you can pretty much pick up any episode and enjoy over and over again.

This is absolutely not my top 3 anime, but they are certainly the 3 most addictive.
3) Detective Conan: Same as Palmas. Even today, I'd still wait impatiently a whole week just to see the next episode. The storyline, even at 500+ episodes, just doesn't get old.
2) Dragon Ball Z: Seriously, the story was great. Can anyone here say that they weren't addicted to this as a kid? I know I can't. Not to mention that almost every single episode ends as a cliff hanger. I kept watching, addicted from the start with Raditz kidnapping Gohan to the end where Goku flew off with Uub.
and...1) Code Geass: It was a crazy ride, but Code Geass was amazingly addictive, more than any other anime I have ever seen. Incredible. I'd be affixed to the screen each episode, and count the days until the next episode airs.

Not a "favorites" list - "just a most addicting" list. Except my number 1 - that is my favorite anime.
1. Clannad - The light hearted moments and great comedy made it fun to watch, but the dramatic aspects of it are what made me stay up till 3 in the morning watching Tomoya and friends. Season 1 sets up the masterpiece that is Clannad: After Story.
2. School Rumble- Not the best anime/manga (I still get mad thinking about the ending) but I couldn't stop watching. I can't count the times I burst out laughing during the randomness of this show. Wanting to see Harima and Tenma's love triangle play out sucked me into this show. The story - manga and anime - was like a goofy friend that always makes you laugh, but then his suddenly says something deep and serious and your like "wow, didn't know you had that side too you", but then he ruins the moment by saying something hilarious
right after.
3. Naruto - Damn naruto. Before I read the manga, the anime had me glued. I kept wondering what was going to happen next. At some point I realized the slow progression ment that not seeing the latest episode did not mean I was going to miss a huge story point. But whenever I go back to watch the episodes I missed, I find myself watching them all in one sitting.

I have never watched that much episodes of anime right after each other. The plot is so simple yet so worked out so good. =P

I believe the story does continue in the manga. I advise you to read it. The manga is great.
Also, I'm very pleased with the responses the thread has been getting. :)
Some animes I just knew were gonna be picked (because they personally got me addicted too at some point. But not as much as the top 3 I mentioned), like: Naruto (oh man the second season), Death Note, Bleach, Dragonball, Hajime no Ippo, etc.
edit: I expected someone to (at least) mention Gantz, Afro Samurai, Jigoku Shoujo, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien and NHK ni Youkoso!. I guess, besides the ones already mentioned till now, these are my honorable mentions.
