Most Addicting Animes

1) Clannad - I found this on Random Curiosity and then decided to check it out. Got hooked completely. The After Story was definitely emotional with made me want to find out what happened next. Definitely one of my all time favorites.
2) Gundam 00 - I think out of all the Gundam series I've seen, this one is one gave me more surprises than its predecessors. The beginning to S1 was slow but really picked up on the second half. S2 started with a bang which was awesome. Every day I would wake up early just to watch/dl the RAWs and then wait the whole day for subs.
3) Code Geass - I didn't care much for this after seeing so many commercials of R2 after every Gundam 00 ep. This show was good and I enjoyed it. I liked the whole strategy thing and while R2 was good, the ending didn't really cut it for me for the pacing was too fast. Still, woke up early to watch the RAWs and then later for the subs but Code Geass won't ever get me more hyped than Gundam 00's influence.

Initial Dyeah!! I love D very much. For me the most addicting animes is:
1.Initial D just like Kuroneko1/2 not only because the reasons he gives but also depends on I am a Car fan.
2. Code Geass I love lulu. I love the figures CLAMP design! This anime is prefect.
3.Sky Crawlers. The Director: Mamoru Oshii. I love the film he made. From Ghost in Shell to Sky Crawlers. Full of philosophy thought.

3rd - Avatar. I hooked up with that series and i liked it, mostly when the characters made me laugh.
2nd - Code lyoko. The combination of the 2D and 3D world it just WOW me.
1st. Rurouni Kenshin. The moves, the story, the characters (Except Yahiko and Yutaro) it's amazing

I'm surprised so many people chose Code Geass and Toradora on their top 3. Those are two animes that I just couldn't get into (although being very different).

Hm, there are only very few anime which I actually watch at a piece. Usually I get bored (it might be an amazing anime) and continue watching a few months later.
Still, if I had to choose for the anime that kept me interested the most, it would be:

Death Note would be up there if I hadn't read the manga before seeing the anime.

Irresponsible Captain Taylor: Almost the above. This is one good series, in my opinion at least.
Gurren-Lagann: If I even only hear something related to this series I absolutely must see at least one episode again, and preferrably the whole series.
ICT is obviously third, but I'm not sure whether to place TTGL or GitS first: both are incredibly addictive in their own ways.

There is only one anime I sat down and watch in an entire day. That was School Rumble - and it was the english dubs... >__>
I just really though it was funny the way tenma and harima were both complete idiots. Plus it felt like the translators were like "screw it, there would be too much lost in translation if we directly translated it so lets throw in some silly lines instead."
It worked for me.

CLANNAD - I'm a sucker for these kind of animes. Anime with moe characters and drama in it that would make you cry. I remember rewatching this for many times.

After a so-so first season, I get excited about each new episode of Natsu no Arashi! Akinaichuu. I also loved how they threw in cameos of a bunch of characters from School Rumble during episode 2.
