Most Useless/Helpless Character in a manga/anime?

That alone allows him to being saved from being the MOST useless :P. Plus he banged 18 even though he's the loser of the Dbz Crew.
This is true, and he does do small things like buy the dbz fighters time such as the time when frieza chased him to that rocky mountain on namek and played cat and mouse with him, he also helps a little with his solar flare, oh and he was the trigger for goku's super saiyan when he got blown up by frieza.

Krillin is far more useful and slightly more powerful than Yamcha or Tien, or even Yajirobe (except for his senzu beans, that's all yajirobe is useful for, lol).
I also like to think Shuu from Guilty Crown as being a very useless main character.

For my vote Id have to say Chiaotzu from DBZ
I believe he didnt even kill Nappa. Then to make it worse, he shows up years later in the Majin Buu saga, & apparently was so useless that the creators forgot to fucking age him at all.

enough joking..i really think Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicles. I've seen most of the series and I have yet to see her do ANYTHING. She walks, she smiles, she makes people happy by her mere presence but does she she do anything else?
and Takumi NishijÅ from chaos head seriously this guy spend all 10 episode before he was put into action!

Joking aside, Mouri isn't that useless of a character. He actually solved a case by himself one episode without help from Conan (for the most part)

what episode/case? the only episode i know he solve a case without conan puting him into sleep is when mouri and his judo club member goes to the hot spring! and the culprit is the police..but conan continues giving hint at that case..

There's quite a few examples on there, a few he was close to solving but needed slight help from Conan and a few he deduced everything but the culprit right.
