Yes it was truly what got me into Anime i remember watching the Gundam 08th MS team on it and fighting with my mother to stay up and watch it so many nights. now I watch all my Anime on Netflix but I still remember where it all started for me. It would be great if they did bring it back but make it so much better and bad-ass tho. tho just like this comment "All Great Things Must Come To An End".

Why did they do away with Toonami? It was the best action block that cartoon network had. Now they just have crap from Canada on there. I imagine if the brought it back with the same show we had on back then there ratings would go through the roof!Yeah I agree, considering that anime fans are over 10-30 million nationwide and if Toonami was brought back then Cartoon Network would have made very good money and we would enjoy the shows again.

So true that block of toonami brought back the good old times when cartoon network was at its best. I would love for toonami to come back and bring the awesome anime back that we used to get.

I was almost brought to tears when I saw Toonami on the TV again. Like most this block was my gateway to some of the very best anime. When I saw the final broadcast for Toonami a small piece of me died. CN would be stupid to deprive future generations of this truly legendary block of anime and other action shows. Hope to see Toonami back one day.

Toonami gave me my first real view of anime. I wouldn't watch anywhere near as much of it as I do now (if I watched any at all) if I'd never seen it. I remember the first Toonami with Moltar, and the first version of Tom before he go the upgrade...seeing it all again and hearing his original voice brings back memories of watching hours of that per day when it was on...damn you AS and you're jokes, make this one a reality.

toonami was one of the best things about Cartoon netwokr, besides the old cartoons like Johnny Brawo Dexters Lab, ed edd and eddy...nuff said!

Toonami was the first stepping stone of anime in my life. That I am very thankful for and the inspiration it has marked on me. Bring it back.

Maannnn Toonami is what started my anime adventure as well. Back right before it got shut down and it was showing the original Naruto. I got tired of waiting to see what was going to happen in the fight between Orochimaru and Sarutobi so I learned about the amazing world of Subbed anime. Than it all went smooth from there.

It's was my introduction to anime too. watching an episode meant so much more when you had to wait a whole week for a new one. I also miss how sad I got when I missed an episode.
