Toonami

Toonami is what made Cartoon Network get viewers for so long after Dexter's Lab, PPG, and Johnny Bravo ended. MegasXLR and Ben 10 helped, but that's all they had left.

Toonami shaped my childhood and is in no small way what made me who I am today. I just hope that if they do come back the programming will still be those golden gems. I know Madoka is getting an english dub, and I think they could broadcast Soul Eater if they asked for it. Wouldn't mind seeing some more gundam series (except SD).

Checked his Facebook page after the broadcast. Apparently this wasn't just a april fools joke, they are testing whether or not they should bring it back. The 'joke' was that people actually wanted to see The Room again.

My family never had the channel when I was young, but later I got into it.

I doubt it will return though: even though a few countries still get Toonami, it's left the US channel for good, I'm pretty sure... adult swim moving in and all.

I suddenly woke up from sleeping for at least an hour before BLEACH and I turn on the Tv and there it was, TOONAMI!!!…after all these years it was suddenly on adultswim, I watched sailormoon for the first time on that show and many others, I even saw "Spirited Away" for the first time on there too...I miss toonami so much I really hope it comes back....

Same here man, I think we all died a little when it finally went off the air. My friend told me that it was on but I thought he was trying to pull an April fool's joke on me I ended up watching castle in the sky on my laptop instead.

ahh good old Toonami.. i remember flipping out as a kid when Tenchi muyo, or gundam came when i got home from school. shit was awesome. Really loved outlaw star and DBZ back then. I wish cartoon network would bring it back. or somebody should at least do something like it.. im still clueless as to why they cancelled it

Outlaw Star... I've never posted before. This was the best reason to do so... Good times. Zoids was another from Toonami. Man you got me feeling nostalig now :P

man, just being able to see toonami being broadcast was enough to make my day, even if it was just for one night. tho, i don't remember ever watching that EP of tenchi muyo.

I sadly missed it when it aired, but yeah if they dont keep it that is the ultimate April fools joke, not cool.

"I can safely say that FAKKU would not exist if Toonami hadn't been around when I grew up, it was mine and so many others introduction to anime". Enough said Jacob, that is why I will always stay true to Toonami, my whole early educations is based on Tom.

Toonami. How you horrible dubbed anime was the start for many people we all appreciate today! Thanks for your contributions! This exposure has made the world AWESOME!

DAMMIT I'm a grown man and I still cry....I mean I since I wasn't from the US I watched anime all the time as a kid and when I moved all they had was cartoons(awesome ones back then),Toonami will always have a place in my heart.
