Digimon, Pokemon, and DBZ. The anime that got me hooked was Yu Yu Hakasho, Case Closed, & Lupin the 3rd. Basically I started watching around 1999 or 2000.
Hmm... Really don't rmb. It was either Gundam, DBZ or Sailormoon. Either way, I use to think it was coupled with the rest of the cartoons back when I was a kid >.>
Either Gundam Wing or Sailor Moon. I'm pretty sure I was to young to remember the scene of Sailor Moon but the Gundam Wing was showing Heero pointing his gun with a hostage or something. Is that the movie or is there no movie.
Probably Space Pirate Captain Harlock.
I think the first anime film/series I ever owned was Majo no Takkyūbin (Kiki's Delivery Service) and Dragon Ball, not DBZ, both on VHS.
I loved those.
I'm not really sure what one but it was probably one of the animes that first aired on Adult Swim. Most likely it was either Trigun or Cowboy Bebop. I almost said pokemon but then I realized I never actually watched the show - I just played my friends gameboy of it all the damn time. I didn't really watch much anime until my cousin showed me Berserk and then I realized - "wait, people actually sub this?" then my world exploded. I found some ddl sites of anime that was recoded into rmvb so they were easy to download and started watching a shitload. Then I discovered the higher quality stuff straight from the source and bought a bigger harddrive and got utorrent =) Never really got into streaming because once you taste the unmolested video files you don't go back (unless you run out of harddrive space).
Goes waaay back to Inu Yasha.
I re-watched it in a huge marathon without sleep a few weeks back and I enjoyed every second of it! Inu Yasha is fantastic. <3
