something has occurred to me just now that I want to immediately say. I have had a similar situation where I came up with an online club and started to work with someone to create it, but since i didn't have any technical skills he ended up creating like everything, even though alot of it was my ideas. Later after the club was off he got really angry after I kept referring to myself as the creator. He kept saying I didn't create anything. And then he pretty much hated me after that and I stopped having anything to do with that club. I am worrying now that you might be feeling that exact same thing here

[color=#993300]Honestly, it's just been me. I posed the idea to echo in March and he's given me some feedback on some ideas since then. I really need more people though....especially because it would be a very active game, such that I need people to monitor the game when it happens 24/7. Lest we get cheating, it's much more intensive and requires registration and everything, we need to catalogue characters and assign them skills and balancing. There's much to be done....[size=10]but only one to do it.....hah.....maybe I should drop it....[/h]

For any and all people who are wondering about the forum game you may have heard Sneaky talk about, these are my thoughts and ideas on it.

This idea has expanded from the thought of having a "Waifu Battle" game. Now obviously since not everyone has waifus that can fight you are not restricted to them and can choose whatever representatives you want. Like a waifu battle system there are a few key points here, one is that the entire game is focused on the representatives (who I will now call reps).

You do have a leader character who is basically "you" and like most of us are in the real world "you" don't have any special abilites to note. You are just a normal person. Then why have a leader character you may ask, thats where one of the cool parts of the gameplay comes in. While it is true that you start off with no abilities, each and every one of your reps can give you abilities. This would be something like you have a rep who is a powerful martial arts master and so you can have them give you their power and now you can use martial arts in combat. However you can only do what you can get from your reps. As I said this game is all about the reps.

What this leads to is you can have a strategy where your leader is simply in the back being protected by the reps or you can have your reps give their power to the leader and the leader can fight with all their might combined. This cannot be done at the same time. If a rep gives its power to the leader that rep can not be used until the leader returns their power. There has also been talk of the leader having one special leader skill that the reps won't be able to use. That is still in progress.

I would like to keep true to the characters as much as possible so that means that if you have a character that is insanely powerful in their source material then they will be here as well. When the question of balancing comes out what I want is that each character has a cost. If you are familiar with card games like Magic the Gathering where you have to pay a certain amount of mana for each card, that is the kind of thing I mean by cost. Super powerful reps will have a very high cost to use.

As for what the resource is, that is not yet worked out. I am thinking something like "Leader Points" this could also be a mechanic for leveling. Your leader levels up and gets more Leader Points allowing him to call forth more and stronger reps. Each players set up is going to be called a "House" with each house consisting of its leader (the player) and their reps. Im not quite sure what types of battle modes there will be or if their will be some sort of ultimate objective
