It is safer to write a disaster poem about a financial crisis. I cannot do a McGonagall and write about an actual disaster where the lost of life and property is more apparent.

Ironic really. I think the 2008 financial crisis did more damage to life and property than the Tohoku disaster and the Indian Ocean disaster.

I think it's because financial crisis were less inclined to instill emotions than the loss of people =)

well I certainly do enjoy so many stuff you've been churning out, including that one =)

nothing much. I've been writing out a Touhou fanfiction though, it wasn't that well-received after all. I think, it was so badly received because it has a really weird storytelling means that was much different than the usual things they've read.

Go ahead. I have nothing to do at this site until the contest is over. It is very strange. At the first the reception towards the competition seemed warm. After one or two weeks, only 4 or 5 entries were posted.

I hope so. I am now thinking if I should post something new at the Writing Section. I can do a few translations especially that song you've kept bumping in the Incoherent Babbling section, I can continue the Boring Boy or make my own addition to the "How to Be a Better Writer".

Civ 5 is much easier than Civ 4, less tedious as well. But this means that I would wean off it sooner or later. Do you still have that video you kept bumping in Incoherent Babbling?

that aside, I most likely will be off for family vacation starting tomorrow evening until this 2nd of new years. I need to take some rest off the internet, I've recently been really stressed out for many things that would probably be too much to be put into words lol.

in the meantime, I'd probably spend it by playing games and such, I haven't been doing that thing very much and I felt like I'm letting my youth float away just like that.

That is a shame. I may work on translating that. I am not exactly proficient in Chinese, the northern accents are completely alien to me and there are some strange expressions that I don't use. However, there is nothing a search engine can't solve it seems. I might post a translation of this in Incoherent Babbling and risk a few 'downvotes'. It belongs there really.

Civ 5 is extremely laggy. Civ 4 is more challenging. Perhaps we can share pointers once we got that game downloaded. The Writer's Lounge appears to be frequented by me and you. With you not around, I expect this place to be rather quiet.
