Ah who knows. Might expand the contest entry. Might randomly start something else. Depends on life. How're your writing advances going?

I see. I felt quite inspired to start to start up a chaptered project of which I had ideas for. Although I don't think I can pull it off in the next few days. But soon after I'm done reading the entries, perhaps.

I'd love to read it when it comes to fruition, but I have absurdly particular taste. Y'know, in case no one noticed.

I know. Seems like majority of the pieces you review; they don't catch your tastes.

I insist it is because of the very nature of this site. I'm not really what you can call a fan of anime--as the list of anime I like is short as hell. Since most users here probably like scores more serials than I do it wouldn't be a stretch to infer that their writing style is influenced--to at least a degree--by anime. Since I don't like most anime it makes sense that I wouldn't like writing that has anime hints to it. There are exceptions however but those are the pieces that I like.

Makes sense, I suppose. My first writings - even the ones I write these days - does have connections to animes. Although the one I wrote on Chritmas for secret santa event was something different.

Also, you should watch more animes sometimes, lol.

I should probably ask Xenon for some suggestions in that department. The last anime I've seen that I liked was....um....hm

I've found a good share of VNs I've liked though. I know some of them have been converted to anime but I like VNs more.

I don't get to play VNs much, unfortunately. But Katawa Shoujo - last one I played - was really nice. I should probably get back to Fate/Stay Night, too.

I'm planning to explore western themes like those featured in games next hahaha~

List of anime I like: Eva (lol), FLCL, Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, and Eden of the East. VNs I liked were Ever 17, Canvas 2 (some parts) and Ar tonelico which I count more as a VN than a game. Friggin cosmospeheres and their brilliance.

But yeah hopefully that paints a bit of a picture. Otherwise I tend to go for more cerebral stuff.

Dunno but I think Charles Dickens and Mark Twain will make a great inspiration of me, oh yeah Bertrand Russel and Ralph Waldo Emerson too along with Plato and Shakespeare~

Lol. I haven't watched those, but I do want go for Ever 17's VN sometime soon, if anything, I hear that it's really good. Recommended in the VN recommendations of Fakku, even. But... I think you should try Fate/Zero. Because Rider/Iskandar = manly awesomeness (in before Mibu appears).

I still remember reading Macbeth and The Tempest.... I wonder if I'm the only one who seriously tried to understand the story and plot, lol. It was fun regardless.

Currently wanting to start into Goethe's 'Faust' since I want to reference it in my story so at least I gotta have a clear background of it~



The ones I read including Sonnets, Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet. I remember being a part of a theater play featuring Hamlet...not all of the dialogues were used though, only a quarter regarding the time limit because many other groups are also participating~

I'm the audio man who manages the music playing in the background, and in the end the play went smoothly. My pals also were really good at performing =)
