Oh, and ruin all of a sudden means rape now? That's
your assumption not
my implication, there's a big difference between the two.
Well if you want to be technical, rape did mean ruin, but that's besides the point.
I didn't say that you saying "ruin" was a good indicator for me to bring up rape into the conversation. Nor did I say that you said being raped was a result or possible result, although the comparisons aren't far off.

I only wrote that she likely doesn't have control of her life, and wasn't given a choice between that life and something else because of the family she was born into and the labels she likely didn't have a choice about signing with.
And that's totally not an assumption right? She totally can't quit or find something else to do in the industry right?
It is but I never said I didn't make assumptions in my previous reply did I? In fact I clearly point it out as an assumption by using the word
likely before I made the statements. Also, it doesn't correlate to her not caring about her job, which is what you said I assumed/implied, don't try to avoid what you're being called out for.
And yeah I re-read all your post and you didn't say that your post weren't full of assumptions, but that doesn't mean someone can't be critical of that statement.
And yes I'm being called out for a strawman. Even though I never really said you said anything about rape, nor did I really say that you claimed you weren't making assumptions. I was criticizing you for making them in the first place.
I'm not avoiding anything.
Well I don't think I am. Maybe my reading comprehension is going full retard because it's 3am.

I said that the image she portrays correlates to insecurity in women which in turn provides a psychological reason for them not wanting to get out of an
abusive relationship.
Could you please elaborate on this statement.
From the lyrics, and the whole attitude of the video all I could gather was something echoing the slut walk.(rebellious attitude towards what's consider the social norm, not being afraid to express yourself or to ignore those who criticize me)
Maybe you mean artist who are similar to her in general, but I'm still having a hard time seeing the image their music portray as something that promotes abusive relationships.
