I just know this somehow correlates to female abuse rates being at an all-time high.
Explain
The image she portrays isn't one that's going to teach respect and civility to the impressionable fan-base that follow her every word. Slutty clothing and actions, tons of makeup and a life-style that will likely lead someone to ruin in life. The image she's portraying leads young girls to believe they have to be the prettiest, sluttiest girl around if they want to make it in life. The constant stress this puts on them leads to depression and insecurity, which are two of the primary reasons women in abusive relationships don't do anything about the situation they're in. That image is a recipe for disaster.

In a way I kind of feel sorry for her and in a way I'm sickened by what the industry has become.
Yes, pitty a woman who is living a life how she wants and is living well off as compared to most people. The same industry for years has popularized sex, drugs, or the rockstart lifestyle?
Do you honestly think rich celebrities have it that well off? Working all-day, most nights and constantly worrying about their image? My sister used to be a huge fan of her, she used to tell me about what she liked, the clothes she wanted to wear and the kind of person she was based on the discussions she had with her fans on her fan-sites, this Miley seems to be the complete opposite of what she was telling me. I pity anyone who are unable to control their own lives and be themselves, no amount of material gain is worth sacrificing your personal freedom for. The very family she's a member of, the large corporations that own every part of her likely left her with no choice in the matter, born into a rich slavery.
If that's what you call dictating your own life your perception of reality is entirely skewed. Behind the glam and velvet curtains of fame and fortune is a world of stress, corruption and pain. I envy no one and pity everyone who is a part of that world.
Or women most of the time are in abusive relationships because of their significant other feels the need to get physical for god knows what reasons not the bull shit you stated.
You mean having major influence in the world, being rich, and getting more opportunities as compared to the majority is not well off? Nigga, you crazy.
Have you ever thought that Miley and many other disney stars are forced to be all glam and perfect just to please the little fuckers that watch them, which includes your little sister? Miley has a life and she can live and act anyway she wants. She owes nothing to no one and the only downside of being a star is not living your life and being constantly hounded by the obsessed fan who try to dictate how they should be or act.
