go with what kyuubi said, and Try to train against wild pokemon when you can, they give you little exp but that will add up and help you in the end~

My advice is to catch a Drilbur when you can, those basterds are tough once trained well. AND DO NOT USE RARE CANDIES, they dont help in the long run.

@Kyuubi Thanks for the recommendations, any more recommendations? I love pokemons that are on the same line as Garchomp, any more pokemons like that I can catch?

@Black, I use rare candies right after the pokemon levels up, so that there isn't a waste of exp lol.

I just restarted my black, (since I was able to transfer all of my stuff to my white), so we're in the same boat. :)

I is a forgetful person so yeah.

Basically, I don't know lots of pokemon, I just looked at the legendary ones too much and don't know about the others.

Also, despite the fact that I may know most of the pokemons, I don't know which pokemon are present where and which pokemons are available on this game and which ones aren't.

Until you beat the game for the first time (that is, beat Team Plasma / Ghetsis), you only meet the new Pokémon.

I always save my rare candies for later. I have 6 so far.

EDIT - have someone found those six sages of team plasma so far?

Haven't used any rare candies at all in years. Have 13 at the moment in White. :D

Found 4 of them for now.

Lucky Egg is broken, seriously. It gave me like 10,000+ exp after a match in white forest.

And actually, Rare Candy aren't wasteful or anything, they do indeed take into effect EVs so there's no downside to using them.



Aside from the ones I've stated, I can't really think of any that would need a recommendation besides those two. You could supplement a Deino for an Axew, but they evolve much later on than Axew does, and it's not a pure dragon type. Plus caught much later in the game.

Unless you're looking for specific types then I can't really recommend anymore.

Nah its okay, Rise is a dragon lover btw, but dual types/ dragon types pokemons are welcome too.

Not hard to kill off an ice type, they're not really known for speed and a lot of pokemon can learn fighting time moves, rock type moves too.

I didn't specifically say Ice type lol. Froslass is fast enough, but hey, the more risky stuff is water. Bulky, and most of them learn Ice Beam. :3

No STAB to the ice beam then but it does pose a problem since Water's less easily countered than Ice lol not everything can learn grass or electric. One reason why I wanna train up a Gardevoir, can learn moves to take care of most anything lol

Oh Kyuu. STAB or no, Salamence dies to a x4 hit. So is Chomp. Haxorus takes x2, but that thing's so frail. :3
