It tore right through my entire party.



The Volcarona? I caught it with a couple of ultraballs, I don't even bother with the masterball.

I used it on the roaming legendary for my game, Thundurus. Easier than hunting the thing down constantly and trying to catch it that way so I just lobbed the masterball.

I should remember this for future games. Roamers are always a pain...

Weird? it was easy for me.. i just used simisear and krookodile

I wish I'd thought of that back in the day with Silver and Gold....never did catch that Raikou bastard. Entei and Suicune were actually kinda easy but Raikou always got away back then lol

I just make sure I have a Wobbuffet with me, weaken the Roamers with Counter or Mirror Coat, then play the waiting game by throwing ultraballs at them.

Caught thundurus with ultra ball on third try, and dont want him.

Middle leveled Gengar with Hypnosis and Mean Look would do.

Never bothered with putting legendaries to sleep, they usually wake up within 2 turns.

And Wobbuffet's Shadow Tag ability is the same as Mean Look.

Is it?... I haven't tried it yet... But in the previous generations, that always works well

All roamers do. I was pretty weirded out by this in SoulSilver as well. The sleep condition helps with catching them, though. (See the catching calculation link on the previous page.)

Freezing or paralysis always works better than sleep IMO.

And in Gen II it works, but since pokemon got abilities in Gen III, I thought it'd be easier to use a Wobbuffet to catch roaming legendaries, it's basically a tank with the high hp, def, and sp. def.

Once I purchase a Nintendo 3DS, along with Pokemon Black/White, I am sure quite I will be able to discuss pokemons in depth with everyone.

Right now, all I can remember are the initial 150+ species from the original Yellow, Red, Green and Blue games.

And I do think Cynthia/Shirona is quite hot. :D

That's why you mean look them to not let them escape.... Besides it's risky to try to puts them to sleep first because of Hypnosis' horrible accuracy.

Why care about counting probability of that?... While you're counting it, I already finished catching any pokemon

I used Spore anyway. :P

Only few can spore Luin...

Let's not talk about developing the probability function in the first place...

I'll just say that calculation is too simple to spend anything more than mins on. :P
