see this is the kinda riddles that i don't really like, it involves u to read or gather info that might not really have anything to do with logic or common sense, how are u gonna point that riddle at all the people who haven't read harry potter yet, would u say that they're stupid that they couldn't solve it, no, clearly not because u're missing an important clue that requires u to read a "WHOLE DAMN" book(and i hate books, though i love to fap).

That was actually what I was trying to explain with my paradox stories.

There's no connection between eggs, chicken and the answer featuring a circle.

So basically, my statement that your question doesn't have a suitable answer is correct. Making it an invalid question, therefor an paradox.

Allright, incase no one else has one, here is one that you can solve with pure logic.
3 skippers want to have the same "box", i.e. place to tie down their boat in the harbor. There is however only 1 free space. There is one sailing yacht without an engine, one with an engine and a motor yacht.
The first sailing yacht is 10,50 meter long
The second sailing yacht is 15,50 meter long
The motor yacht is 12,50 meter long
The skippers decide to make a triple line (i.e. | | |). In which order is it best to dock?

Sorry nope. As I said, you need to see it from a perspective with logic :) Think about what supports best and the chance to maneuver.

the 3 first because motor makes easirr to manuever then the 1 then the 2

or it miggt be whichever one the skipper is currently on.

Could you explain this "box" and "space" a little more into detail? I don't really understand what they are supposed to be.

Allright a "box" in sailingterm is the place where you tie up there boat. Often there are boxes in larger harbors that are meant for several boats, so incase there aren't any more "single spot boxes" aka boxes for 1 boat free, you take the one for multiple boats.
However it depends on the country quite a bit. These days many countries only allow several ships to lie directly next to each other at the end of the pier. (Basicly you can imagine a box like a car garage. You can only park 1 car in a garage designated for 1 car. However there are some garages meant for several cars. Though on the water parking is a lot more difficult, hence the riddle).

Fortunately I'm not complete clueless when it comes to seamanship. Oh, wait.

What does such a box even look like? Is it open to several sides or anything like that?

Does this even have anything to do on how easy they can get back out?

Does the solution only include the order in which they go in or is the position inside the box of matter?

I don't even know the real manoeuvre difference between sailing and motor ships.

I'll just pick random factors.

If all have to get in (And back outside.) through a specific 'path', and the motor yacht being easier to guide, my solution would include a 3-1-2 order, having the biggest of the ships on the 'outside' to not make things complicated when it's about to set off.

If this riddle is basically about not to wreck the other ships while trying to get inside the box, and I'm right in my assumption that the sailing yacht has got a harder time, I'd say the best solution would be a 2-1-3 order, which then again would give the 15,5 meter yacht a hard time to leave in case the other two would still be inside the box.

If the order in which they can go in is independent from the formation inside, I'd say the 15,5 meter yacht goes in first, staying on the most outside position, followed by the other sailing one taking the middle position and finally the motor yacht going in and taking the most inside position.

Okay I'll give you a hint: A sailboat without a motor can't do the following maneuvers:
A) Sail against the wind
B) Break suddenly when having rear wind

Also another hint: Motorized boats have what you call a "side rotor" basicly something like a small propeller on the side to help with complicated maneuvers and to not damage the boat / other boats while landing.
The leaving order isn't needed. Just try to think of the best order when incomming.

Are the other two ships controlled when the last one is about to go in? If that is the case, I would go for a 1-3-2 formation, giving the smaller yacht an easy time to go in while at the same time making use of the dodging abilities of the motorized one when the least controllable goes in.

Should that not be the case, I'd go for my second solution.

Remember, one of the sailing Yachts is motorized (i.e. has an engine to maneuver)

That's why I'm making use of that ability when the 15,5 meters one is trying to get inside.

/Edit: Are you trying to say that the motorized one is the only one who can get inside since it's windless?

Sorry. My German sentence construction messed it up in my head a bit. So basicly your going for a 1 2 3 with the 1'st going into place first, than the large sailyacht with engine and last the motor?

Alright. I somehow managed to completely miss the fact that the second sailing yacht is motorized.

I say the best solution for going inside would be a 1-2-3 formation, simply from hardest to easiest to manoeuvre.

Although this seems way too simple.
