Some more news with Poland, man these guys are completely modernising themselves it seems. Apparently, they'll be previewing a new GPMG at the MSPO International Military Expo, designated the UKM-2013. Basically a modernised version of their UKM-2000 GPMG, it feeds 7.62x51mm NATO rounds and features a 3 rail handguard. The pistol grip looks like a modified AR15 A2 grip though that'd be cool if it was able to switch with aftermarket AR15 grips as well. The interesting part of this MG is the butt stock which is telescopic, features a cheekpiece and has a fold out grip/pod(amazing).
There is an external similarity between this MG and the Russian PKM chambered for 7.62x54mmR so apparently, its parts (like the stock, grip and handguard) are interchangeable, maybe with all of the Kalashnikov design. Here's some images of the stock grip in action.
