But the only thing I'm sure at, is how caring she is toward Gensokyo, which is one from many points that made me think Yukari and Maribel might somehow related. Take note on some circumstances that were related to Gensokyo's continuity, Yukari would be the first to interfere. In regard to Hakurei Border, Yes. It was meant to keep reality and fantasy apart. Both the shrine maiden and Yukari must cooperate to keep it under-control.

Yukari would be great at poker. Zun should make the next game where we find out about Maribel and Yukari and if there is some relationship between them. "Those two" in "Is the Hakurei Border partly serving the purpose to keep those two apart?" was referring to Yukari and Maribel, not the outside world and Gensokyo.

Yukari is implied to be one of hell of a trickster in nearly everything. Up until now, only Yuyuko has shown the intelligence to keep up with Yukari's. I assume their friendly relationship for a long time is the primary key to bridge their synchronization. But then again, I don't think Yukari was and is someone who befriends others easily. There must be a special reason behind it.

If that's the case, then no. Hakurei Shrine is meant to protect the boundaries around Gensokyo, which is also the vital point to keep and maintain Gensokyo's existence. Hakurei shrine maidens are always needed to keep the balance; they must not die by anything that's not a natural cause. That's where the spellcards rule came from.

Do Yukari and Marisa get along? I can't imagine they do but Yukari could potentially out-thief Marisa. Seiga too if she was in the mood. I don't mind Yukari sees Yuyuko as a friend but more someone she respects and is more careful around because Yuyuko can follow Yukari's thinking.

Spellcards are a natural cause of death? If so where do I sign up?



During a low point avoid them at all costs to avoid frustration

You see, Kanojo X is an eroge that emphasizes its sexual factor the most. What I only need to like it is Mafuyu and the basics of her personality; anything else doesn't matter. Say, if there were twists in Kanojo X, it would likely be around "You chose to have sex with my sisters instead of with me, hmph!".

No no, Youmu. Spellcards rule is (probably) meant to protect the shrine maidens since there are a lot lot lot of youkai with tremendous power that may threaten their lives. Shrine maidens need to exterminate youkai, and youkai naturally should disturb humans in order to survive. This cycle is what triggered the creation of spellcards rule.

Theme : Flower

Here I go with July's submission of Kotohime's Cache.
I was thinking to draw Letty considering flower as the theme. But the more I draw her, the more I want to make her somehow related to my yuki-onna OC, thus killing my primary objective about emphasizing the flower. After scrapping the former idea, I decided to go with someone whom I consider having the most beautiful flower-danmaku,

and an additional (very) rough sketch I made yesterday.

I've read both of those and never saw any references to Yukari in Symposium and none to Marisa in Memento.



That makes it sound more like the humans are really really weak so the spellcard rules are made to keep it somewhat fair. Why did the youkai collectively agree to such rules? I would imagine its because youkai don't want to kill anyone but their survival depends on some amount of disturbance.



That video has a nice story but the song without the video isn't special to me.



The first would be great with vocals but thats the kind of thing I'm going for.
The second is great. Somehow its first I'm hearing male vocals in a while. That said, please no more "U.N Owen Was Her?".
The third is just like the first. Needs vocals.
