How often do you use practice mode in Touhou?
Often. Very often. The spellcard practice just to figure out its trick in detail. Not so much the stage practice. Like Space Hitler was saying having a rhythm is really important as it lets you get through both spellcard and nonspellcard stages with relative ease.
Ideally these games should be something like climbing stairs while jogging. To be quick you need practice and a good internal metronome. The practice lets you repeat a specific step until you feel comfortable with it and figure out its pace. While helpful, it can never replace starting from the bottom and stringing all the stairs together.

Shit, what's with those nicknames in quotes? Zeta Gendum? Lambda? Old tarts? Cats? Who the fuck are you people!? Where's my real club members?
We are the club member's replacements. The originals were killed in Judgment Day. Don't worry civilian #23, this wont hurt, much.

That show wasn't too bad. When were we going for similar personalities? Its about the look,
the look.

Celestials are implied to be very arrogant, so no. Suika's pride came from her natural strength and ability, but she keeps a low profile in daily basis. You do realize how laid-back she truly is, right? That's one of many characteristic of A-class youkai. To support such assumption, let's take a look at Yukari's distaste toward Celestials in general. As we all know, Yukari is not someone who voices her real opinion directly. That being said, celestial must be so special that Yukari doesn't even feel the need to hide her distaste with either lie or sarcasm in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.
It really seems like the highest youkai just like to be left alone and not cause trouble without really good reason. Well, most people in Gensokyo are like that.

To say they are stronger than the others is most likely an overstatement; they are very strong, but not necessarily the strongest. To be honest, I don't like and tend to avoid power-level discussion (since it's actually restricted and eventually become stupid), so I am not sure.
I take it you don't like "I have to strengthen my resolve/body/power/etc to defeat you" stories?
Ah, now I remember why I don't (want to) recall it.
Why?
Its not harassment because she makes those same lewd sounds you do Sakuya.
"Old-Sakuya" sounds like the name of a high class wine
Yes. Both really left a deep impression in me, especially AIR since I ever dropped it once. I am so glad that I picked it up again and end it in one go. It also goes without saying that Clannad used some elements from both Kanon and Air.
Do you find it hard to pick up a VN after stopping for some time? Which would you say is better? Kanon or Air?
On Clannad I have 6 episodes left. This is a bit before how far I got in the game.
