How about just skipping stage 4 entirely? Right now I always lose a life at best to stage 4 Reimu but everything else I can do without bombing or getting hit. Of course, as soon as I typed that I watched Marisa's stage 4 on youtube then tried it and went hit free. Are all the last spell cards like that?
You can't skip stage 4. lol. I have only ever lost a life to Reimu on Stage 4 when I haven't played against her for a long while. On the other hand, I only lose one life to Marisa on Stage 4 because of her lasers at the end...

While we're at it, I highly recommend the newest TAMusic album that's uploaded by Rin.
I don't know about you, but I'd rather have Toho as the way it is. ZUN already made most of his characters with the most basic information, ambiguous origin, and certain implications. Unfortunately, some of them leave much to be desired, but that's also one point of what makes Toho favorable, if you catch my drift.
To be honest, I never really like something that I can understand simply by blatantly seeing it, unless it's meant to be all-jokes/comedies or anything in that line. Of course I am not asking for deep and complicated twists-oriented stories. As long as it's cleverly entertaining, then there should be no complain on my part. Something mysterious has its own charm, don't you agree ?

Question: If scoring is done via high score screenshot will only pictures showing scores dated as dates within the event be counted?

It's not like we can just generalize bullet types in one or more categories, there are a lot of variants with basically serving the same purpose. (dunno if I word this right) For example, the butterfly bullet like what Zandwarf mentioned.
That being said, it's much better and accurate to measure the annoyance by the boss. As one of the primarily laser-users, Shou is at the top of being the most annoying for me.

Aren't the butterflies much like the giant stone (Storm on Mt. Ooe) ones? They look huge but the hit box is smaller. They serve to play mind games.
Apparently I have gotten better at extra stages recently. I got the Mokou's 2nd spell card and Mamizou's 6th. Mamizou wasn't even on purpose. I was standing up just killing time and decided to play TD for giggles. Regardless TD extra feels easier now. Probably because I've spent so much time with IN extra and working on graze-streaming.
In addition I finally cleared Sun Goddess Sacrifice (Futo's Overdrive). Its really fun once you get the feel of it. I've never been happier to exploit Reimu's hitbox. Did Iruka's Thunder too (midboss overdrive) Videos below.
EDIT: Also did Seiga's overdrive.

Given how big Gensokyo is, Marisa feels it's impossible to do all the works alone. With that being said, she asks for her trustworthy comrades during the day of Imperishable Night to come over to Eientei solely for helping the project into fruition.
