There there, Zandwarf. Even though we may have problems in normal mode as well, it's supposed to be varied considering our different equipments (team). That's that, perhaps you are having problem in dealing with enemies' spellcards ? What kind of mistakes did you usually commit ?
Also, think of it as just a suggestion: please don't forget to have fun. If you cannot reach high, aim low while progressively setting your aim higher. Some participants think of it as a competitive blast, that kind of mindset I don't mind, but make it a side-dish instead. Playing game is supposed to be fun, not restraining or aggravating. Perhaps, that's one of a very few aspects that people shouldn't forget.
I said all of that because I forget it myself without I realize. I'd prefer for nobody to join in my boat.

My mistakes are running into the bullets even though I know they're coming. Most notably, Wriggle's spell card before she does her Last Spellcard.

All I can do is provide you a hint. This is not easy mode.

I know that that's my problem. The other problem is, that I can't stop doing it anymore. I do it subconsciously every time I play.

Hmm, yes, that's quite a problem.
How many times have you cleared IN normal so far ?? It's preferable for you to adapt the survival strategy for the first-3-levels. Reimu (Marisa in your case) and Kaguya are ones we cannot play with, at least for me.

I can clear normal, especially since I can get to Kaguya on Hard. I've only tried it once, but that was before I had 1cc-ed EoSD...

Unfortunately no on my part. If I ever got a guaranteed-to-be-granted wish, I would use it to ask for the ability to relive first impression. (or get rich, or smart and talented, or another unrelated things)

It just proves how inexperienced I am in scoring concepts, which kinda disappoints me. For how many lives I used for normal runs, it's the default 3. Honestly, I think IN is among the very few installments that I'm brave enough to not take the safer options.

I'm not... feeling satisfied...
The warmth that it gave to my heart at the beginning, changed towards the end, freezing and breaking my heart.
Those shards of my heart were then dissolved and scattered throught my eyes...
I can not stop myself from doing this, i can't get it out of my head...
