Ah, then you'll probably have to pay up front, but I can't say for sure. I know Zengar has to pay after he orders, but I haven't had to pay a single thing until it arrives in Japan, so they can accurately calculate total shipping instead of having to invoice later (since they ship my packages to the US.) Whereas for Zengar, his packages are shipped directly from Japan, bypassing shipping to the US, so there is no need to calculate the extra shipping, and thus he has to pay sooner. For Canadians, packages may be shipped to the US, but shipping directly from Japan might be cheaper.
Yokatta would probably be the way to go for it, since their web order commission is ridiculously cheap. But as you said, you'll have to pay up front.
As for SMJ, they'll ship anyway, but their commissions for web orders are definitely higher than Yokatta. I just use them since, as I'm in the US, I don't have to pay up front.
Looks like I'll stay with Yokatta then. I like to avoid all US shipments as the chance of coming across UPS and their ridiculous brokerage fee is high.

Just as an FYI, the dakimakura blog has on the left side a window with a list of all the soon-to-end order periods for the dakimakura (the part with dates 2012/1/23 to 2012/1/29 atm, as you can see lots of things closing on the 29th). Useful to check every now and then in case any of them are of interest to you.
Edit: Looks like the T2 ART WORKS comiket dakimakura will be up for order from Toranoana on the 27th
That's an awesome tip, thanks! Unfortunately I just seen a dakimakura ending soon (29th) so I'll have to make a quick, and tough decision!
