I woild have to second the notion of the ARX-07 Arbalest from FMP.
1. the control system is feasable
2. suit is very funcional
3. the lambda driver system is one of the coolest tech bits ever put on a mech.

If that's the case, why not go for the ARX-8 Laevatein? It took out three Behemoths and three Codarls in 5 minutes and 52 seconds. The only problem is that they had to reduce operation time to 30 hours and removed the ECS and whatnot. On the other hand, it's physical strength is enough to tear apart ASs when the Lambda Driver is in effect and its cannon is so powerful, it gets knocked flat on its back even with the Lambda Driver. If you don't know what it looks like, here's the Revoltech figure for it.

Maybe Steel Angel Kurumi, if she came with Steel Angel Saki, even then I would have to wake Kurumi up with Saki, after having woken Saki up myself.

Who cares if I can''t pilot them, I think Eve is amusing to watch and should probably live with a normal person until she finishes growing up mentally, and Kurumi/Saki is simply for my own amusement in bed.

Just because you pilot a powerful mech doesn't give you the same abilities as its usual pilot. Come to think of it, you would need the Natural OS installed into Freedom to even pilot the thing.

As for that Wing Zero...that's an interesting shopped image. I've seen better, but it's a good start in the right direction of combining Epyon with Wing Zero Custom. The thing is, adding a Heat Rod isn't the answer to Wing Zero's problems. Adding some basic armaments, such as a standard Beam Rifle and maybe a pair of VSBRs would solve it.

That is more than a mix of Zero custom and Epyon, it also has Deathscythe hell Custom's feet and missile racks from Heavy Arms. Zero could have carried a beam rifle, there is plenty of room on the damned thing for one, it's not exactly like it was over in weight due to it's equipment or anything.

This isn't that hard. I would pick GGGG (Genesis GaoGaiGar) The God of Mecha Robots

My preffered Mecha would eiher be Jehuty (or Idolo) from Zone of the Enders or Xenogear from errr Xenogear. Both are a bit overpowered though.

but if you ask for realism, I'd take an Armored Core (notthe from from 4 and beyond though)

currently being obssessed with Gundam 00 mine would have to be the trashed exia from start of season 2. If only it hadnt lost an arm....

What I really prefer is FA-ZZ Gundam or Ext-S Gundam, their both powrful and has high defense, and you don't have to be a newtype to control both of them.
