Wish me luck!
Oww... sucks losing to your deck not functioning properly, but its great you got that far.
I don't see anything wrong with your deck, too; just things I have different preferences of.
Good luck to you. And enjoy yourself.
Will you be using that deck at the GP?
EDIT:
So I finally figured out a sideboard for my Maze's End deck.
Already have tested the maindeck against many different decks and it works waaaaaaaay better than expected, and I already had confidence in it. As expected, control decks can barely (if at all) beat it, and it can slow aggro to a halt so long as I don't stumble and they stumble once.
The sideboard, on the other hand, is almost completely untested; I made it last night, and only got to do some practice rounds against a friend's mono-red today.
Here's the list:
4 Maze's End
2 Azorius Guildgate
2 Selesnya Guildgate
2 Izzet Guildgate
2 Rakdos Guildgate
2 Golgari Guildgate
2 Dimir Guildgate
2 Orzhov Guildgate
2 Gruul Guildgate
2 Boros Guildgate
2 Simic Guildgate
3 Mountain
1 Swamp

I took inspiration from the control variant of a Maze's End deck from the most recent Pro Tour, but I disagreed with some decisions. They had Crackling Perimeter in the sideboard, while I believed it'd be better mainboard so there's still a win condition if something goes awry. And I hated how the TurboFog variant looked, though the one I took inspiration from didn't have any fog effects.
Regardless, I needed the Fogs, at least sideboard, because of the crazily fast decks.
So far, the only decks I haven't been able to easily beat are Jund aggro and Esper tokens. Basically, if a deck is able to spread very wide very quickly, things are bad for me.
Every other deck I seem to have beat fairly easily. This said, I haven't faced a (good) Naya aggro, yet. I did face a Naya deck that looked like it should have been aggro at first, but ran midrangey cards like Farseek and Huntmaster of the Fells. I kinda destroyed him.
I also realized how mill can be slightly devastating to me; the reason I put Memory's Journey in my sideboard.
Also, I noticed partway through typing this that I think I should have included Pithing Needle in the sideboard.
Extremely fun deck this is~ And all this seems to come down to $45.90*, at least for now. Once this fifty-dollar challenge my friends and I are doing is over, this deck will include different cards for added consistency, but this is already quite good.
*This is according to ChannelFireball, which is the place we're using to determine card prices. I should also note that we're not considering foils (since me and another guy are using some in our decks), and basic lands are not included in the cost.
