Naruto VS Luffy

I totally forgot about the summons as well...

Not that I particularly want to redo my analysis again... so I'll just try and forget again D:

1st: Gamabunta is slow, so swinging his sword against luffy is useless.

2nd: Even if Gamabunta stomp/sit on him he wouldn't get hurt, cuz he's rubber

3rd: Jet Bazooka/Gattling Gun (Gear 2nd) can Overkill the frog..

4th: While Naruto is doing his sissy dance with his hands, punch him in the face..

Sissy Dance = Hand Seal + Biting his finger for blood...

Not overkill. Luffy still has the option of using 3rd gear or Bazooka/Gatling. But both has flaws though, so taking the Toad down with either moves is a risk...

Then again, what's a fight without risks?



Have you SEEN how Gamabunta moves? He is fast for a giant, lung-cancerous Toad.



I wouldn't say he WOULDN'T get hurt. Even a Rubber-Man would take damage if a giant Toad stomps/sits on them.

I will cut to the chase, Soru's real speed is at 6:46 or sometimes faster, but at 0:45 He caught Blueno using soru without gear 2nd.. I doubt Gamabunta can move as fast as Soru..

If you watch from 1:40 and onward u will see he didn't really get any damage from a punch and stomp that can shatter the island..

@ch1ppi: I think Klown was having Naruto use Gamabunta only as a distraction for Naruto to charge his RasenShuriken (RS). If not, then I don't think Luffy would have too much problems with Gamabunta. All he has to do is ignore him as his speed would be enough to evade all his attacks, though it would be a good distraction factor, as he would have to keep his distance and make sure he's paying attention to Naruto at the same time. If Luffy did want to fight back I wouldn't know how his Gomu Gomu Jet Bazuka would do against Gamabunta.

Read the 4th Factor before you post this.. I am pretty sure Luffy will use his Gear 2nd during the fight.. since he's pretty tough.. Also, when it comes to fighting, Luffy is not such an Idiot to forget about the other dude..

Edit: Rasen-Shuriken put a lot of damage and stress to Naruto's hands, so I think he will be careful doing the jutsu.. (not completely sure)

All it takes is a mere maybe 2-4 seconds for Naruto to get his RasenShuriken (RS) up (if that) and Gamabunta has a pretty good chance at distracting Luffy for that long at leaast. There's still a chance that Luffy might not be able to get a hit off on Naruto while he casts RS as there's a chance Luffy wouldn't be hit by the it.

Also, I don't think you know what the purpose of a distraction is. Even a fraction of focus can tip the balance in battle. Sure, Luffy's not stupid but if he looked away from Naruto for just a moment, that could be the end of him as Naruto can secretly cook up a KB to ambush him.

Also, RS only damaged his hands if he made contact with an enemy and let it "explode" while he was holding it. Now that he throws it, he's overcome that problem, but the chakara factor should make it possible for him to only be able to use it only once, unless he goes Kyuubi form.

Can Naruto run as fast as Soru does?? while he's busy dodging his Hand seal might be disturbed and took longer to summon..Also, Luffy is very creative to fights using his body, who knows what might happen.. How 'bout the unknown power Haki?? I don't really know that much though, but it can distract by putting pressure and Something Else (Damaging Luffy with bare fist).. Proven in Hebi-Hime Arc.. (not really an arc)

He doesn't have to. He can use Kagebunshin until he can summon the frog which is almost instantaneous for Naruto to make clones. Even if you say his clones won't last, all he needs is a few seconds to summon the frog. Nothing less, nothing more and I'm sure his clones can at least do that much. As for haki, I don't think it would work on Naruto, as it only works on people or animals with weak wills, and Naruto has proven himself to have a strong will. Yes, the punches won't hurt him, but the clones CAN still use Kunai which are sharp and can puncture Luffy.

Even if u say Naruto can make shadow clones instatenously, Luffy will defeat them instatenously as well.. look at the last attack Luffy use against Lucci (Jet Gattling Gun makes his hand disappeared from sight..) Or use his Jet Whip (Not sure if he ever used this skill before but I am sure he can)

Try reading my post before replying with something that deviates from it. I never said Naruto was using the clones to battle Luffy. I said he could use them as a distraction to pull off summoning the frog.

Yes I know.. Luffy's an idiot most of the time, when he sees more than one enemy of the same he beat them all out without thinking..

Still, a giant toad has a WIIIIIDE range, combine that with his speed = barely avoidable attacks.

Also, the only reason why Luffy caught Blueno was that he already knew that he was gonna attack from behind. Like how he caught Coby when he used Soru.

Maybe he did get a tiny speck amount of damage, If u see him looking very tired/hurt then it must be from all his adventures throughout the Island/Ship and forcing the shadows inside his body..

You forget that luffy has the ability to adapt to an enemy's attacks once it's been used at least once on him. Surprise attacks (like how Lucci suddenly grabbed Luffy with his tail to reuse his strongest attack against him) work well against him.

Luffy isn't the best at predicting... so I think I have to go with ch1ppi with this one. The whole emphasis of gear 2nd was speed and power and as ch1ppi said, Blueno looked slow in the eyes of Luffy.

Why don't YOU start to bring some actual proof to back up all the feats you say Luffy has.
From the sound of it you only say Luffy wins because you like One Piece more than Naruto, and that ain't gonna work.

I'm saying, just like you think immortality from OP isn't allowed in this fight, the speed from Naruto shouldn't be allowed as well because it's overpowered and I doubt their speed is actually that, or we would see the battle span 2 km, and we never see that happen in an instant in Naruto, cause 2 km in one second? What the hell? Seriously if Pain was able to do that, he should be flying way the fuck higher from kicking off the ground at mach 2.2 as stated by the laws of inertia, and I'm pretty sure Naruto is the only one who can control movements in the air with his KB.

No they're two vastly diffrent things, the immortality in OP only works in their verse because Oda refuses to kill any character that isn't fodder.
To put it another way, they're not immortal, Oda just gives them plot shields so that they can survive all kinds of shit that they shouldn't be able to survive.
Like i said, it doesn't make them immortal in versus matches, it does give them some good durability feats though.

We don't know what Kishi intended their speed to be, and that's why people in battledomes make calculations about it, as with the Pain calc, and unless proven wrong it holds water.

Notice that he still has his MS activated when the lightning already has started traveling towards him, that means he hasn't activated Susano'o yet, as his eyes go pure white when he do, and with that we know he reacted to something that can reach the ground in 1/1000 of a second.


I don't know if you've been to a BD before, but i assure you that mach 2 is rather slow compared to alot of other verses.
For example, Saber's best speed feat to date was calculated to mach 14 if im not mistaken.

This is where I was hoping the argument would lead. It's a comic don't bring logic into it. OP characters have good ass endurence and if you want to bring logic into it saying Luffy doesn't have it, then Naruto's speed should be out as well.

EDIT: Just so you don't get the wrong idea, I'm not saying Luffy is immortal. I just brought it up because you said it's looney-tooney hax and shouldn't be applied. Even though he's not immortal, what I was getting at is that he's going to be one tough mother fucker to kill. There were arguments saying that a Rasengan would still damage him, and I pointed out this point to inadvertently say that Luffy would just get up from that shit.

But as you said, if we do allow Naruto's fucked up speed in this battle, then there's no contest, though we can't rule out the possibility that Luffy might have that speed. But I doubt Eichiro Oda would overpower his characters to move faster than a fucking jet.
