One insignificant thing you dislike about today.

Experienced the bullshit that is Latios' level 50 battle in Pokemon Shuffle. I either need serious luck or a team much better than mine currently is if I want to beat it before the 8th.

• I woke up in severe agony this morning; my back was acting up and it took half an hour to sort it. I couldn't stand up straight unaided.

• I lost my hat. My till buddy confirmed that I had it when we left the pub and I remember having it at the front door, so I'm fairly certain it's in the house somewhere it's just very hard to find. And I lost my nametag for work; last time I saw it I put it into my bag changing into casual clothes at work and it's since disappeared. I'm not having great luck with my things.

• And I went out with the lads but I was busting for a shit in the latter half of the evening. We got "caught" by someone we don't like and one of my mates stupidly agreed to have "one more drink" and once she left we tried to get a taxi home but they were all busy and long queues waiting for them, so we had to walk home and for some reason we took the route where I was the furthest one away. While busting for a shit. And when I did, bleeding arse. Need more fiber methinks.

Had to miss my mum's birthday meal because I was working today. Have to give a week's notice to book time off and I wasn't told in time so I couldn't.

Manager smelt like shit. Literally, shit. I work in a small store, so I had to deal with that for a few hours.

Customer came in giving feedback on the floorspace of our store to a guy covering shifts helping us merchandise for a few days, because it's not very pram friendly. She emphasised she knew it wasn't in any way our fault, but she was basically preaching to the choir. We know this. Lately we've felt that we want a bigger store since we can't even have a restful break due to the lack of space out the back, but there's not much we can do; deliveries have been coming in thick and fast and we're still expecting at least 12 more pallets. We have to get it out somehow or else it piles up in the stock room.

Her pram was also basically a monster truck. I don't understand why people buy those.

Cherry got fired a few days ago so I'm not working with her anymore... Something about the fact we're in a relationship and I'm a manager and the owner just can't have that.
I kinda miss having her around during my shift.

As for today, the lights on my tree shorted out... It's a lot less Christmassy in my room now as all my other lights were connected to the tree. Finding the bulb that went outs gonna be a apin

Random bad happenings and/or difficult customers.

• A customer didn't want change so gave me extra change after I opened the till, completely throwing me off. I panicked, my mind went blank and she got really shitty with me about it. "It's primitive addition", she said. Well yeah it is, but you try performing under a sudden panic because you refuse to have change given to you in return and I get it in the neck if the till is out. Fucking cow. Thankfully my Supervisor was there to help me out. For the love of fuck people, don't do that.

• Another wanted change for parking and paid £18 with a £20 note and the rest on Card. First time giving change on Cash/Card payments and I got pretty anxious about it.

• Something that was in a 2 for £10 offer but came up as just £6 on the till. There was no 2 for £10 sticker on it so I didn't realise, so she had to come back, get a refund and have it put through again to get the offer put through correctly.

• One tried claiming that branding on bags was illegal. Now that I've done my research I told her in confidence that what she was saying was bullshit; no official source says this.

• Another went on a full-blown rant about bags, to the extent that she claimed to refuse buy anything in NEXT because she had to pay for a bag.

All in all, pretty grim day. Started it off so well, too.

Went from school to home to the hospital to the police station and finally home again.

What a fucked up legal system where you can get arrested for being attacked.

One of my dogs wondered into my room, tore up the pillows on my bed and ruined one of my dresses. Tiny bit pissed off.

Work schedule for next week got changed. Now I'm opening twice (we open at 4:50) and closing twice, because upper management is fucking retarded. While it won't be significant until Tuesday night, I'm still irritated over it.

Juustt got my fucking tires replaced on my car, and then my neighbors leave a heap of trash out, and there just so happens to be a big lovely glass bottle that I ran over and demolished with my new wheels :|

Woke up at 11 PM after going to bed mere hours earlier. Still awake three hours later, and I need to be to work in a bit under three more hours.

Also, Windows updated in the middle of a lengthy download without any warning or asking for my permission, which canceled it and rendered it incomplete. Then it had the gall to take five minutes to go through a few screens that stayed on screen for about a minute each despite having one line of text. It didn't allow me to go through them manually, despite pressing every button on the keyboard and mouse, as well as moving the mouse.

Dec 18th:

Friend asked me whether I found her attractive and I told her I did a bit. Not my best decision ever. Now she's gone off on one saying she's made things awkward and didn't want to lead me on, and she always fucks things up etc etc. I told her she hasn't to either of those things but won't listen. Ended up with her lashing out at me telling me I care too much, so I left it at that.

Urgh. This is why I don't tell people how I feel.

Manager said she'd try to schedule me as opening on a day I'm closing, because she doesn't want to use her vacation time on that day now. Opening is shit, and she could easily adjust the schedule so that she opens or something.

Hopefully that doesn't happen. Fuck opening.

Edit: That's exactly what happened. She's opening, and I get the middle shift. Meaning I have to deal with her for five hours, but I'm neither opening nor closing. Worked out almost ideally, actually.

Thread idea stolen, but i'll hop over it soon enough. And now i'll have to re-think about what thread to make next.

I'm fucking furious. Just had to miss out on a meal with the lads because a bus didn't arrive. Stood outside in the cold for half an hour waiting for one. In the end had to cut my losses and let my mates have their meal without me. Been looking forward to it all week, although I did forget when and where we were going earlier.


Edit: And a bus has just gone down the road. On time. Are you fucking kidding me.

The realization that I will never get Nero in FGO.

Waking up at 2 in the afternoon. I hate sleeping through most of my day off. Though I slept for 12 hours so safe to say I was pretty tired.

Probably gained like 10kg of fat this week
