For a considerable time in our relationship, we used the condom. Then my gf got on the micro pill to deal with her cramps. Since by that time we had been together long enough that trust was no longer an issue, and neither of us were much fond of the rubber, we dropped it.
It does feel better, but those moments of pleasure aren't worth risking an STD, really. Wouldn't go bare with someone I couldn't absolutely trust (kind of a moot point because I wouldn't have sex with someone I don't absolutely trust in the first place :p)/hadn't been together with for a long enough time. As far as pregnancy is involved, the pill carries a lower risk than condoms, but it doesn't protect against STDs, and those should be concern enough.

I'm on birth control, I prefer no condoms. But I believe if a couple go no condoms, the girl should be on a type of birth control.
I don't think people should have flings without condoms though, while they might look cute - a lot of other people probably found them cute too.
