It's not like every single link in User Uploads dies within an hour of being posted. Even if most of the links do die, what are you suggesting, that we delete the entire User Uploads section?

As for how it would hurt the rest of the forum to have it protected, as I've said over and over - SPAM. You may have missed it, but when the 30-post limit was made for entry into the section, the forums were spammed to hell. The entire Fakku forum was shut down for several hours to clean up the mess.

If we decided to only let people with so much rep get into the section, the same thing would happen again, because people would spam to get rep, as I have said.

If you don't want to post links in the User Uploads section without some sort of protection, then don't post your links here. It's as simple as that.

I'm afraid he's got a valid point there. And I care not to see the rep system further warped than it already is.

Remember when the site when down for 24 hours? Well it was because we had a copyright claim from some hentai publishers in the United States.

I guess before I upload anything else, I'll check extensively to see if it's licensed in America.

It's pretty calm now, or however i should describe it, but when it gets to a certain level of reporter-activity, that im sure alot of the uploaders have seen on other forum, links really go down witin an hour.

I have heard about that, and no one wants that shit ofc, but it was worth trying out imo.

Can moderators ban people who attempt to report in the user upload forums? That way the hentai will get to stay and not go dead?

Problem is we don't know who reports them, so how can moderators ban people they don't know? Most unfortunately there are no e-footprints that can be easily accessed unless done by hacking.

Beside each thread, it's shown how many people have viewed the thread. Couldn't it be possible to get a list of people who have looked at the thread?

As soon as a link is deleted, one could make a list of everyone that had viewed the thread before the link was deleted. Repeat with other threads. Then see if there are any users that have viewed the threads with the deleted links before the links were deleted. That could give a list of potential suspects.

But that'd be a lot of work, and that wouldn't be the same thing as evidence, so no action would really be taken without seeming like a Nazi.

Well, to report "bad" material, you have to go on the Megauploads site and report it, clicking a link of some sort I assume. Finding out who clicks that "report" link is bound to take some hacking and some programs. Like you said, your idea ultimately finds a common link, but it'll be a lot of work and there could be many suspects if ever compiled. I don't think it's worth the time nor effort.

Megarotic links get deleted, too.

They don't report these links at FAKKU (Wtf? How, and to whom at FAKKU?); they report them to Megauploads or Megarotic website.

I'm also surprised that Megarotic links got reported... I was under the assumption that anything related to sex belonged there.

I assume it's because of legal issues. If so, that would explain why anime episodes get deleted.

The Rep idea, while could be valid, not everyone is great enough to get many rep points *points to self*

This site is getting bigger and bigger. And i believe we will need more Mods to manage / control the forums, mostly. What i might suggest is that we create a title ''Fakku Member'' Who will be given to member who have gain trust, from Mods / Admin and they could give permission for them to use the ''User Upload'' section.Promote who we beleive won't start reporting stuff. Its someway to get some control on report stuff...

This way, we can avoid the SPAM bullcrap, cuz if your just spamming useless post, that avoids mods to promote you to use that section.

But it requires insane amount of work, that not many people would do.

Since post count limitation leads to spam i'd agree on N number of rep to enter user upload section, well there's another idea i thought of.. instead of using post count would it be ok to limit only old user for example 1 month since join date to be able to gain access?

I've been thru some forum which requires at least 1 year and N number of post to get in upload section so FAKKU is actually very open i would say.

As for a permanent resolution, i remembered girlcelly said to upload to megarotic and mirrors the links to megaupload using mega manager, this way links can be regenerated from megarotic as long as you don't post the source link.

I haven't really try that so can someone confirm this?

And girlcelly mentioned many times that his links always get reported, so he would be quite aware of this issue as well.
