Roughly a week before my eighteenth birthday, going to Barnes and nobles for a few hours of reading. Well im walking up to the entrance that has the starbucks in it (ohh! fancy!) and I see someone close enough so that when I open the door I can hold it open for them without a long pause(that makes it creepy.) So I do. Now what you would expect to happen is the women to enter the store, usually ignoring me or mumbling a thank you, but no, not today. I had, by accident or by others design, managed to hold the door open for a feminist, and not the normal, isn't a fucking bitch kind, I got the fucking Hitler Of feminazis.
So one second I'm holding the door open, the next Im getting yelled at by some bitch about How I was a chauvinistic pig, how my father was a sexist, my mother was tool, etc. I was stunned, thankfully her rant was long enough that I could form a rebuttal, which I was nice enough to voice to her, I believe it was somewhere along the lines of
"Shut the fuck up! I held the door open for you out of courtesy! I don't give a shit if you're a women, I hold the door open for everyone, its called manners but you don't know what those are do you, you're too busy "fighting Male Oppression" (I finger quoted at the bitch) to understand how much of a sexist cunt you're being!

"Oh REALLY! Who here bets that she would of cussed me out for holding the door open if I was a women?(thats right starbucks patrons, it on now) Oh thats right, SHE WOULDN'T, the usual thanks would be given, but HOLD THE PHONE! it was a man who held it open, god knows no one holds doors open to be courteous anymore! Went inside, got a starbucks (it was summer, yay frappes) and giggled at all the people mumbling about what a twat she was, etc etc. the girl who made my frappe gave it to me for free too! best day ever.
If that happened to me I would say "O.K. if you want me to treat you like I treat everybody else, if someone else said that to me after I held the door open for them I would beat the shit out of them. Take this you dumb, retarted, fucker." then I would punch her In the face.

As far as my experience goes, It would have to be from my philosophical studies class in my first year of college. Of course the first thing my teacher has us debate is religion and creationism. I decided to side with the people who would argue that religion is bullshit. Bad move; it was three people, me included, against fifteen. We were given ten minutes to organize our arguments. The worst offenders were these two girls I had to debate against. The first one tried to counter my argument that religion is the most successful scam in mankind's history by saying that christianity can not be manipulated because God made it and therefore it is perfect. I could barely contain myself and almost lol'd. The second girl's attempt to derail my stance on creationism, how could God exist in the first place if in the beginning there was nothing, by saying that my point is invalid because I am going to hell.
And somehow these people got into college. Just... wow.

Yeah... about the microwave thing.... I recall a long time ago when they the military used to use microwave radiation to see the communication/signals of the enemy or something in the radiation. It was basically an open microwave(to make it simple). And the people there had no idea why everyone was getting cancer or get severely sick. Oh yeah and they found out microwave radiation can warm things up to eat when one of the soldier had a chocolate bar in his chest pocket that melted because of it.
Edit: I'm speechless when i talk to my brother cause he completely forgets what he said like a day ago, and completely contradicts himself later after that. Its soo ridiculous that I'm speechless.

I was in college sat at a table with a load of girls (go me!). Then out of the corner of my eye i see one of them come back having been to the shop to buy herself a bottle of milk. Something must have happened on the return journey to this poor lass as she was not in the best of moods, and as she got back to the table slammed the bottle down. She the proceeded to stare at the bottle, after a good 2 minutes i asked her what she was doing? She then actually said these words " I can't open the bottle yet or it will all fizz up!" I was stunned to silence for the 5 minutes after which i delicately explained to her the error of her ways. I also found that she thought the clouds only ever moved in one direction and that the moon was the sun at night. OMG!
She has now gone to oxford university done a 3 year masters in politics and now works for sky news in london. Oh if only they new! hehe.

My boss is a homophobe. That...rightthere...is the dumbest fear I have ever heard of.
I was joking around with one of my co workers, his name's Jason, and while he's straight, he's so comfortable with his sexuality he has no problem mjoking around, pretending he wants to fuck other guys, and all such sorts. Our supervisor, who basically is the all powerful night manager at the factory, came over and asked us what we were talking about one day. Now Jason is a jokester to the maximum, so he asked what was so gay about two men tickling eachother. MY boss frowned and shook his head, "You keep talkinglikethat Jason and some gay guy's gonna rape you." I looked at my boss and asked him, "...What?" My boss nodded and told me, "There aren't a whole lot of gay men in this state, so they resort to raping straight men."
I informed my boss that I was bisexual, and had no problem finding other willing participants of either sex. He looked at me horrified, then walked away.

Oh, I have like that as well... This happened in my world history class a few years ago. We were talking about WWI and how stupid trench warfare was and so on. However, a few minutes into the lecture this redneck-y guy asked the teacher something along the lines of "But how did the German manage to last this long without modern weapons?" When the teacher asked him what he meant, his response was in the direction of "Well, ya know, did the German's medieval armor work against bullets?" All the guy knew about Germans was apparently that they killed tons of Jews sometime back and before that they were all living in castles and villages.
I shat bricks at first, but then my teacher explained to him with a very straight face that the German managed to crossbreed turtles and sheep to created bulletproof wool and also created bratwurst bombs and sauerkraut-based poison gas. The whole class lol'd.

That's...odd. What state was this school in? Most college kids I've encountered have been idiots, but ardent atheists, because they think it's the intellectual thing to be, and they want to seem intellectual. They are annoying and are the biggest reason you hear people say things like, "Atheism is itself a religion."
Also, in some collages, a professor can get in mad trouble for even mentioning creationism. And I certainly agree that it is unscientific, and further more, stupid, I don't think any topic should be off limits, especially in an environment with the stated purpose of higher learning. But this is another subject entirely.

Haha, It honestly depends on where you go. I've been to multiple states on volunteer work and different debate teams. I've found extremists all over, from as far south as northern Florida to as far northwest as Oregon. Oregon is gorgeous btw, and even in some of the more sterotypical extremist states i've found plenty of intellectuals. 2nd Year at MSU.
Actually this reminds me of a story. This girl in one of my language classes, French to be exact. She was into me from day one, and eventually we hit it off and I asked her to dinner. Now, I knew prior that she was from a very.....shall we say strict family from Idaho. Turns out, despite her intelligence, alot of their propoganda racist bs rubbed off on her growing up. She had this real bad fear of other ethnicites, was strictly against Partner marriage, very strict on her relgion. Pure bred Christian. Well, the relationship didn't last. I honestly tried, but sometimes enough is enough. She was a decent girl at heart though, still manages to surprise me occassionally just how many still follow the old prejudices.

Well, when I was in high school I had a world conflict class. How it worked is after we study a long running conflict the class then would split into groups to debate one sides merits over the others. Well one of these conflicts happened to be the Korean War. The teacher split it into 4 sides; The Chinese, The North Koreans, The South Koreans, and the UN. I was on the UNs side and some moron was debating for the South Koreans. Technically my ally but... he thought it would be funny to tell the teacher, a FEMALE teacher, that the was was started because Asians have sideways vaginas. The sad part is that not only did he find it hilarious, but he actually BELIEVED IT. He never lived that down.
