Is Peace only an illusion?

More or less, sure short-term peace agreements might exist. Long-term, it's most likely like a dream. After all Einstein said "So long as there are men there will be wars."

Peace isn't an illusion , it is the real thing.

The problem however is that people cannot get used to the idea of living in it.

My definition is that peace is a Utopia.
Something we desire but cannot achieve!

It can be achieved... but the question is, how do you persuade over 7 billion people to work with you and make a utopia together?

A question without an answer.
But who knows maybe it'll be answered in the future....

They HAVE the answer to peace, it is just their greed that is getting in the way.
Greed of money.
Greed of Power.
Greed of resources.
Greed of attention.
Greed of truth!!!

People keep it to themselves because they know when they find something that is so great and does so much goodness to them, you believe they will share it?

Now we have a new problem, greed of place.

Sharing means breaking that goodness into little parts and giving it to a person which means less for that person who broke it to share it.

They have the answer to EVERY solution, it is just that their greed keeps it from letting us know it.

Any smart person would notice that.

Peace would only exist,
IF

each one of us would have respect for each other.
each one of us would help, and think rationally.
each one of us would have self-control.

Somehow this topic is making me think of all the conspiracy videos I seen on youtube.

I'm sorry if I sound like a pessimist but I don't belive the mass ilusion that is "world peace". I don't think we can ever acheive "world peace" there will always be people that want to do nothing but plunge the world in chaos and war. Is that just me or has someone else thought that too?

This seems kinda too dark to be on a hentai fourm but maybe I'm wrong. But even if we can't acheive world peace we can still strive for it and make the world a better place.

We already had a discussion about that.

World peace IS possible, only problem is greed and the addiction of ones misery.

This is SD, nothing is too dark. There's even a thread about a guy trying to justify eating babies, so...

As for the topic, I'd say your belief is correct. You'd have to be very naive to actually hope for actual world peace. Doesn't mean you can't try, though.

It's all about the system and how it works.

Once you find out how to break that system into parts , and reconstruct it into a structure of positive sustainability, then we can start rubbing our hands together and be happy of an upcoming world peace.

Understand, break, reconstruct, and maintain.
Those are the basic function of a world system.

World peace is also a system, it is not all about ending wars and freeing us from the psychological manipulation people get from watching tv. There are many parts to pay attention to if we wanna have world peace.

Think about it, food, energy, shelter, education, creativity, and most of all freedom.

How can you talk about world peace if you don't think about these things first?

Because world peace is a serious matter, although the OP didn't post much info on what he is exactly writing about.

One of the most biggest issues which regards to normal people are:
Religion
Resources
Finances
Positive sustainability
Maintaining that positive structure

If people cannot be wise by choosing the quantity ( Not quality ), then we have a serious matter since greed is also the big issue here.

Also people strive for better living, which is also a selfish trait since they waste resources every half a year costing the industry billions of dollars and not being able to recycle them or reproduce them that fast enough.

Also the most biggest of them all, drum rolls please ( TRARARRAARARARA ) is,
Being social.

That is right, people have begun being more and more ignorant by the day and do not seem to care for each other, even families are ignoring their own relatives issues, and if we cannot handle the issue here, then we cannot begin even talking about peace, since we need people to actually maintain it.

Peace does exist but it's because of the wars around us that we can notice that peace
I don't know who actually said it but "how can you notice the good things in the world if nothing bad happens either?"

Heard it from plenty of figures in stories, from people, from family, and from somebody who I don't know.



This video will show you that peace can be obtainable but the current system these guys have set up prevents us from actually achieving that peace.

The only way of obtaining peace is by building a new system that is greater than the system we have now running currently around the globe.

Systems have to beat the other systems, it is the only way to maintain that peace after the system of the government breaks down.
