unless all of those things, (and other things I missed) change, disappear, or are made to be a non-issue peace is nothing but a dream, and a foolish one at that.
One of the most biggest issues which regards to normal people are:
Religion
Resources
Finances
Positive sustainability
Maintaining that positive structure
If people cannot be wise by choosing the quantity ( Not quality ), then we have a serious matter since greed is also the big issue here.
Also people strive for better living, which is also a selfish trait since they waste resources every half a year costing the industry billions of dollars and not being able to recycle them or reproduce them that fast enough.
Also the most biggest of them all, drum rolls please ( TRARARRAARARARA ) is,
Being social.
That is right, people have begun being more and more ignorant by the day and do not seem to care for each other, even families are ignoring their own relatives issues, and if we cannot handle the issue here, then we cannot begin even talking about peace, since we need people to actually maintain it.
I do not believe we should even be striving for peace. We can look at all the countries in the world as rivals, and nothing strives people towards improvement like a rival who's "better than you". But, if we really want peace...complete and total isolation of all countries might work. If countries refuse to interact with eachother, they can not go to war or develope grudges. But even if that were true, I guess there is nothing to stop a civil war...
The problem is that normal citizens do not wish for such thinking that foreign countries are to be rivals, it is the government itself that is maintaining that cycle of war that pushes countries to not trust each other.
Soldiers do not want to fight a senseless war, but they cannot stop their duties due to the fear of their home being attacked, leaving them no choice but to serve the country, even though the soldiers themselves know the truth better than us.
It is a vicious ( But not infinite ) cycle, this cycle of war could be stopped at anytime if there was a person who already planned a new system to bring forth peace and trust, which I highly doubt considering that the current system leaves the people thinking it so complicated, and giving up on a new system idea.
It is not all about war you know, just to remind you of that. Peace has many things, not just ending violence.
