[Locked] New Law Banning Lolicon?

Japan is often critized for its inablity to effectively record rapes - for example a rape/murder is counted as murder. Also, on the news they recently reported that many females (and even some males) are coming forth saying they were raped in school but didn't tell anyone. It is like the whole catholic church thing again.

Art is the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions.
with this definition I think hentai can still be counted as some form of art.

And I don't think it will be impossible for the U.S. to ban loli because I don't think enough of the populace understands the fact that stuff such as loli is just the start.

Also the media through which people get their news will likely be misleading in their portrayal of things such as this because they don't understand jack about this stuff and just want to make an article that will catch people's attention.

Is it so hard for people to believe that someone can like Loli hentai and NOT like actual underage girls? Really, is it that goddamn difficult? I know a lot of people who read/watch Loli stuff, and they don't lust after every kid they see.

Just because someone likes loli doesn't mean they're also a pedo, or even show pedo traits. Not all furries have a lust to fuck animals, yet that's the stereotype. Banning of lolicon WILL increase demands for real CP, and increased demand will result increased supply. This alone makes me wonder why people seek to abolish lolicon.

Yeah. If they at least had some kind of actual survey or study that links lolicon to an increase in child molestation and other sexual misconduct then fine, but they don't have a single document to support that claim even though they pretend the connection exists regardless. -_-

People have gone too far when trying to link lolicon= Pedophilia. The main difference is one is a bunch of pixels/ink/paper while the other is flesh/blood/bone. We are literally trying to punish people for holding this. What's next? Jailing guro fans for murder?

I have a collection of lolicon and yet, I hate children. Well, not really hate but, I find them extremely annoying and especially not sexually attractive. The whole hysteria about child predators has me debating if I would even help a child in danger due to incidents like these

This whole thing is outrageous. Lolicons won't not will they ever go out to molest a child or harm a living child in any way. While some child predators look at lolicon, lolicons don't look at child porn (A=B B≠A).
