The general argument about people turning to real CP is only about actual pedos who use loli as an outlet. Second, most members here on fakku are into loli but not real girls because there is a significant difference between the attraction to 2D and 3D. Personally, I find nothing wrong with loli. I've enjoyed it, and hell, I'll probably continue to enjoy it regardless of public opinion or legal interference. Frankly, who are we to judge a man's ideas of what's appealing to him? Is that our business?

Let me touch a few subjects here. I'll start with an easy one--appeal. Part of loli's appeal is taboo. It's human nature to want what we can't have or do what we're told not to do. Loli is just another manifestation of that aspect of humanity. Why do you think we've discovered things such as reverse psychology? Simple: it's common knowledge that people are only enticed further by restrictions or limitations. That compulsion to break taboo resides in nearly all of us, and it's cruel and hypocritical to call foul on a fellow man for catching a different view from the window we all look from.

Similarly, there is a large difference between a lolicon and a pedophile. Pedophiles, convicted sex criminals, are those who have victimized a child through sexual activity. A lolicon is one who finds sexuality in sexually-underdeveloped females, usually understood to be minors. Not finding the difference? Have an analogy. Murderers are imprisoned or executed because they have purposely ended the life of another unlawfully. Let's face it, we've all entertained the thought of killing someone before. Does that put us on the same level as a murderer? Maybe you wanted to kill to avenge a loved one. Would you consider that as despicable a crime as that of he who takes a gun to school and slaughters students and teachers for no reason other than despair for their social ostracization? I think not. So why pair he who finds cheap thrills in cartoon children with he who permanently destroys the innocence of a child? I don't see the logic.

I am certain we agree on the notion that people who do abuse children or take advantage of them should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. The reason why the supreme court ruled in favor of lolicon is because no real children are harmed nor taken advantage of. You seem to be blind to one major point. No actual person is harmed. Our system of laws only punish people for actual harm done or actively attempting to harm someone. To put it bluntly 'Until we do something to a child we are doing nothing wrong".

So by your logic we should throw people people in jail for looking at guro or by killing someone in a video game because you can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy. The point to be made there is that no country has ever turned up sufficient evidence that links the two together despite pretending that such a link exists.

The problem is all about culture and morals, which bugs me to no end. I want people to keep their morals out of my laws. There are no children being either physically or emotionally harmed by what I am doing, and no one can say with any level of definite answer that that means I am going to commit acts of child molestation.
