Suicide & Euthanasia

I love my life and those who take their lives with out a just cause are fools. I am sorry but you should not kill your self if you hate your current life then change it! run away move love fight do something to find meaning to live. a life is something you only get once so don't treat it like it means nothing. Sorry if I hurt anyones feelings but that how I feel Because I was there myself and I learned that life should not be treated lightly. Just make friend and loved ones and you will find a reason to live.

I will never commit suicide. It's stupid in my opinion. So what if I get stuck in a rut? So what if the world screws me several times over. It's my life. And I want to live it to my fullest, and cherish everything along with it. I get only one chance to live.

I am not suicidal and never have been, but i do find a strange kind of comfort in knowing that it is an option. maybe it's because i have excepted the inevetability of death. at least with suicide i know i can die when and how i choose. to be able to have control over the one thing we can never truely escape is very liberating. even if it never comes to that, just knowing it's there is nice.

Suicide, huh?

I vaguely remember that day when i was about to take my life. I was crying for an awful lot of time, though i don't remember why. Perhaps my brain decided to hide that information from me in order to keep me alive. It was already almost midnight and i was just waiting for my 2 room mates to fall asleep. They were aware of what i was about to do but funnily enough they didn't try to stop me. They respected my decision in taking my own life. Before finally turning in, one of them said something and it felt like a whole new world opened up right in front of my eyes. Yes, i know it sounds ridiculous.

Anyway, the following day looked a whole lot different from my usual days, it lacked color for some reason.

Don't ask how that last statement connects but i found it really weird for the world to lack color, or for my brain to interpret color. I don't really think there is anything wrong with suicide I mean, it's your life, you get to choose what to do with it. If you want to end it go ahead. I believe i wanted to get it over with due to some emotional stuff. All i can do is share that story of mine and say that suicide is not a way of escaping from problems, as they will still be there even if you are gone; but merely a way of shirking responsibility.

I'm going to hell when I die, folks. I've attempted to kill myself in the past. The best attempt made was when I took an entire bottle of sleeping pills and woke up freezing in a hospital room. Some of the experiences I had after I woke were the following: I was freezing when I woke up, could not walk, and memory was hazy. Not the most severe consequences considering they were all temporary, but still.

I don't believe in God, Satan, Heaven, or Hell. I was raised as a Catholic to believe in them, but I reject the notion that there is an omnipotent being that created everything. We would likely consider the bible a very good fantasy novel were it released in modern times, yet the age and propaganda of the Catholic church has made it so that the thought of eternal damnation is at the back of our minds. Is killing yourself still somewhat looked down upon? Sure it is! The worst part of attempting to kill myself was the lurking fear at the back of my head that my family hated me even more after the attempt. I'd say skip attempting to kill yourself, and reconcile with yourself over what is driving to you to think like that.

The choice to commit suicide is not a logical one, always an emotional one and emotions aren't always the most rational thing.

If you feel bad enough about anything (or in most cases, 'everything'), you are going to at least think about considering committing suicide. It's not an enormous amount of one depressing moment (usually), it's often a build-up over time (years even) of negative emotions.

Anyway, on Suicide vs Illness, it's more about choosing how to live. Would you rather slowly lose your inevitable battle with your Illness (perhaps in hopes of waiting out for a Cure) or would you rather just end it quickly?

It's a difficult choice, I've known people who dealt with illnesses that were slowly killing them. Dying slowly is not pretty.

In any case, for me, the decision (at least in dealing with Diseases) should be ultimately left to the person in question. No matter how much one person may know another, you may never know exactly what's happening in their mind or in their emotions but one should always talk it out with a friend.

If someone wants to kill themselves, let them. I only hate the ones who make their death pubic. Honestly, if you're gonna make a scene standing on top of a building saying "I'll do it!, I'll Jump!", then I'll push you myself.

ha, you reminded me something about suicide. Most of the games nowadays allow you to type "/suicide" in console to kill youself when you're "stuck" or encounter something "troublesome". In order to start a "new game".
However in real life, we only have "start" and "gameover", there is never a "restart" button for any of us to press. So, if you want to beat the game, just cope with it :) No one will laugh at you even if you get a low score, because you could proudly say " I tried and beat mine, I'm much better than those who didn't try"

I kept this in my mind because I was one of the people who thought about suiciding and still alive ... :)

What about reincarnation?

Some people believe in reincarnation, I will never say they are wrong because I can't proof it. But honestly I don't believe the reincarnation of human exists even though I'm Chinese :P

I think we human beings return to dust (carbon, nitrogen, iron, etc) when we die.
(This is only my personal view, this may not be true +.+)

I know some people think that suicide is selfish. It is somewhat selfish because it will cause pain for your parents, friends etc. But sometimes thinking about others is just too tiring, you just feel that you are only a burden to others and you are tired for being in pain and always losing. I think it is partly selfish choice. That is the conclusion that i have made.

I first tried to kill myself when i was 16. Even my parents don`t know about that. I tried to drive my motorcycle to the wall, but the gas ran out before that. Second time was about year ago, when i was in my second year in the university. I just was so tired and felt like there is no future for me. That time i just thought about myself. That second time made me realise my parents pain. Most of my depessions is because of my childhood and always trying too hard. I have couple different mental ilnesses and i attend therapy every week. But almost every day, i think about suicide, it would be so easy to take a bottle of sleeping pills or painkillers.

For me, Suicide is a cowards way out. However, if one kills oneself in order to protect others, then this is what I call sacrifice. I guess the gist of what I'm saying is that if you kill yourself just for nothing, then that's just an act of cowardice.

The case involved a lawsuit brought by four current and former members of the right-to-die group Final Exit, who were charged under the law after correspondence and other written material was found in the home of John Celmer, who committed suicide in 2008.

I have thought about it in the sense life seems pointless in the sense that when you die, you are dead and you don't know you are dead so why bother go on living


Now i would NEVER commit suicide cause i love life/hentai, but idk some times just seems like there is no point to life.
