As to dr roxo post. Dude do you really think that jews are evil? and all of them need to be sent to hell? do you really think so? if that what's in your mind that would be the source of sin of you but heed this well not all Jews are evil it's the same everywhere in this world actually it's the same in this whole universe. by setting that kind of mind, your 'subconcous' (your other mind) are making an effort to make it come eihter you know it or not. That also means that you are proving my theory that war are the only way to reduce the human population it's the same as the action taken by the squid.

Human 'subconcous' are very weird i dare to say it's like an independent sofware inside a super-super-super-computer that even the computer itself doesn't realize it's been there all this time and that also can be applied to the human 'subconcous'. Believe it or not many suicide are made based on the current problem faced by he or she but that's was'nt the case it was our other mind that given that order to everyone trying to commit suicide, i once asked somebody who try to killed himself but failed said it's like someone or somebody talk to him inside to take the easiest way to end all this problem and that could only means it's other mind that at work (human subconcous). believe or not suicide are the product taken by our mind 'subconcous' to take the easiest route to end our problem.

To all the people who said suicide is for pussies:

I'd like to see if you have the cajones to live with yourself if you could live the way people do in south east asian brothels or human trafficking.
Or the good ole snuff films done over and over again.

People can make decisions, yes. But can they control the situations, their environments, and their place of origin? I think not.

Remember, there are people who take their own lives because there is no saving grace, no kind, helping hand, no Buddha or God or divine entity (or even the gawddamd Devil) to change the arduous, torturing situation they live through.
Apathy and indifference.

Suicide is a hard discussion. The main reason is that we do not know what happens when you die.

Let's start with the easier portion, assisted suicide.

In the case of them being gone, no chance of recovery, then it's less a case of killing someone, as keeping a husk of their former self around because people just don't want to let go.

In the case of a terminal illness, in dealing with pain and such. It should just be the person's choice. What right do you have to try and force someone to deal with pain that will leave them suffering in inactivity just because you want them to.

The tricky portion tends to be when there is a portion of chance for someone to recover from their situation. And that will just have to be a case by case situation. No one case of that situation can determine what is the best choice.

Now for the bigger side, suicide suicide.

Part of it deals with WHY are you committing suicide?

Depressed, teenage style suicide. Where you make your problems worse than they are because you're in an emotional state. Sorry, but no. There is no good reason to commit suicide in this state. It is a very selfish situation in which a person only thinks of themselves and WHAT they feel without even considering what their choice might do.

Cause of your honor. Sorry, but I just don't see how killing yourself because of your honor is a good idea. Much better idea to just live and reclaim your honor through various actions than to just kill yourself. This also includes when people do something they think is irreversible. You must always try to atone for your actions.

Rock bottom, no way you're getting out of here. As mentioned, there are people that experienced horrors we could never even think of. People who there is no chance for them to know anything else. And to answer this question, could you force someone to endure something hellish just to satisfy yourself?

Because someone you love left your, died. Your wife left you, that's sad. Your son died, that's sad.

But there are others in your life than just that. Yeah it will tear you apart, but that doesn't mean you should give up on everything else either.

Okay here a some theory,

A suicide is actually a state of mind which is been disturb by a heavy trauma be it whatever you all can think of. These state of mind actually are the most delicate part of our personality each one of us has that part because that part are what makes us human which is emotion but because of some disturbance to these delicate part of us it could cause a great effect on everything we do, take the example from the mass suicide plan by someone i don't remember his name in here at America. 500 people or more die willingly some say they were forced but in my opinion a mass of 500 people died because being forced by a group of men are not quite true they have been told that by doing this they have already avoid the wrath of god, the end of days, doomsday whatever it is but point is they have been told and they agreed, they AGREE to drink that poison drink although a few escape.

This means that by disturbing a delicate part of someone life even a child of 12 years old can make a grown up person to commit suicide if that child able to influence the delicate part of that person.

If human want to control the emotion inside of us the most important thing to control 1st is the inner mind, the sleep mind, the subconcious or what ever you called it if we managed to get control of it we can managed to stop suicide...

I think it's easy to judge, and say people should have could have done this or that. But the fact of the matter is they're already gone and hind sight is 20/20.

I believe people have the right to do as they please, however I prefer them having access to an outlet other than death. Whether it be a friend, relative, professional, something. Even if it's just a safe place for the night.

The only time I think suicide is selfish when they kill themselves in a selfish way. One of my most hated types of suicide is driving on the highway and turning your wheel hard. You hope to roll over and end up in a terrible accident and die. The problem with this is it usually happens an innocent bystander gets involved and they too often get hurt, if not even die from the accident themselves.

Another type is throwing yourself in front of a vehicle. I don't like the idea of making one person feel guilt for an action someone committed.

If I remember correctly, Japan started putting mirrors on the front of trains so when the person stepped out front they'd see their reflection and cause a bit of self realization to jump out of the way. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

I haven't heard anything about putting a mirror though but it's going a good direction if any means neccesary were taken to prevent a suicide and that would be the first step toward self realization.

As long as it's not taken lightly, I think it's a valid option for some people.

I think the most respectable approach to it I've seen was in the film "Last Life in the Universe".
The protagonist wasn't suffering and didn't have a specific reason to kill himself, he just felt that he had reached an end.

Although I don't really like to see people commit suicide as a solution to their problems, I also understand that there are times when one can feel completely hopeless about a particular situation and death may possibly be the best option.

It appears that all of us have our own opinions on the issue of suicide. However, we have yet to discuss how we can prevent others from committing the act. Taking notice with regards to the behaviour of our family and friends might help, especially if they start acting strangely. Lending a listening ear may seem like a small gesture, but it could possibly alleviate the burden of others, albeit slightly.

Still consider it a viable option. The only thing that keeps me from it isn't the fear of death, but fearing that my death will be pointless if I take my own life.To die and simply be forgotten is scarier than living alone. Plus, it got me into poetry so I can't stop now. Hard to believe I write about fairy tales now when I used to fill notebooks with lines sad enough to make grown men cry.

There's no way I could ever commit suidide. I know what would happen to the people I care about and I can barely even stand knowing what would happen. Escpecially after I went through a suicide scare with one of my closest friends.

not even if you had some horribly painful terminal disease? would you help a friend or relative commit suicide if they were in afore mentioned situation?

I'm for euthanasia for the terminally ill or the extremely old( like "I can't get out of bed" kind of old). I personally find that it is a beter path than to either burden others or go through the pain of seeing them suffer.

with the recent divorce of my parents my father seems to have hit an all time low. and the family and his friends certainly aren't helping. (He helps them but when he needs help they leave him in the cold)

every time we speak he talks to me in depressing riddles that confuse and freak me out at the same time because I can't figure out if he's telling me "he's glad I'm there for him" or "I'm glad to have known you". Those 2 lines are lying way too close to eachter it's freaking me out.

The only thing I'm able to do right now is keep giving him optimistic advice and keep saying "he'll pull trough". only to get another on of those riddles. I just hope he doesn't do something drastic.




I had a though about telling him to move out of the country and start a new life somewhere else. Altough I keep surpressing it because I have no cleu how he will take it. for al I know he could see it as a "I don't want to see you"

Maybe not so drastic as a new country, maybe move to a near by city. that way it's a new start away from depressing memories, but still close to supportive friends and family.

We can't really judge people that would or have committed suicide ....we don't know what they're life's were like..Life has no real meaning so I would shoot myself If my future doesn't look very bright

I don't like it. It's basically running away from your problems. Not just your problems but any chance to be happy ever again. There are other ways to run away from something, killing yourself is just dumb.

Suicide is an act of self rejection.. It also prove that we cannot totally control our body, which in my point of view this body isn't exactly our's.. If it is, we can self destruct ourself biologically..
In example, try to hold your breath it may lead you to be unconsious but you will not dead since your body will struggle to life..

You can live with dignity, but you cannot die with it.

I think suicide is a cowardly hurtful thing to do. Because you are the only one not suffering and others are given the greatest pain - a life on their conscience.
