The higher power

Like others have stated, I believe in 'something higher', but not like the religious views of God, Allah, Buddha, etc. Since there will always be clashes between everybody when it comes to this sort of thing, I don't delve too deep in it. I've practiced four different religions trying to 'find myself' and see what this was all about, and I ended up, well, not exactly 'not believing in God', but rather, I took to the idea that 'there is *something*'. What that something is, I don't know, and honestly, I don't care enough to pursue it any further than that. >:

Speaking in tongues is nothing more than people making up shit as they go along. It's just incomprehensible rambling. Nothing more.

OT: Is there a higher power? I have no fucking idea. I couldn't tell you. But I try and deal with what I think I know and our current comprehension of realty.
I have yet to be convinced that there is a designer of any kind, and therefore do not believe in one.

The Vatican has hundreds of compiled cases from supposed 'exorcisms' wherein the patient speaks Latin or even Aramaic.
I'm currently digging up reliable sources on such cases, will edit the post with links.

Note: I'm not religious. I see these cases as possible evidence of some kind of ridiculously theoretical genetic mimesis.

When I meant "Incomprehensible rambling" I meant Glossolalia. They're not saying words, they're just putting sounds together. It's not divine, it's just an act.

I'd like to see these cases from The Vatican (although I think it's probably just wishful thinking on The Vatican's side, but I these "paranormal" cases go through somewhat "rigorous" test for legitimacy).

I'm an atheist mostly. I figure it's not certain there ISN'T a god, but if there is one he's absolutely beyond our understanding and has nothing to do with existing religions or anything that happened in the last few billion years.

I don't believe in any higher power like God or such. I believe in evolution, life. I also hate people who are religious and ignorant.

That's a rather blunt way of putting it. Also evolution isn't a belief it's a scientific fact.

Sorry, I'm not very good in putting words since I am not english :) What I meant that the evolution is the "higher power". Not sure if I said that like I meant but... And what I mean by the last statement that I do not like people who are too "deep" in their religion. In example Christians: "God hates fags, you gonna go to hell". Like the "saying" goes: "Religion is like a penis/vagina. It's okay to have one but do not force it down someones throat." (unless they want it) I'm probably not making any sense so I'm gonna stop.

No , we have enough scientific evidences to say that it is not a theory but a fact and if you don't agree then go do some research on the subject .

Is there any complete structure or chain show how people , monkeys , fishes developed and when , where , showing the physical evidence at the same time ??

Well yes, as is gravity. A scientific theory is essentially fact. A scientific theory is not an educated guess.

Well , that means no " strong evidence " , there is no chain connect all of these creatures describing what happens and what changes in every level, isn't that right ??

like I said the fact has no holes in it , it maybe because the definition of fact in my language is something that should be always true , under any Circumstances so the evolution theory should work the same , for any living creature , but what is seems that it don't , because there is a lot of animals who don't work by the rules of the evolution theory , which means this theory needs more work in order to become more and more logical and cover all different types of animals even the simple one of them

what you learn in math , that if you found a hundred points , ninety-nine of them on straight and one point is not then these points isn't a straight line unless you proves that some how that the one point is on straight with these ninety-nine points !!

and Just like that , the evolution requires that all of the animals , plants , fishes even the died creatures that we find should all of them work with the evolution theory to be considered as a fact , but it doesn't which means that it either the theory not true , or the theory needs more rectification .


there is a lot of arguments around this theory in this time and there isn't a single experiment showing that a creature turned to another creature , but there is some experiments showing that some animals has adapted more to the environment that they live in , which means that adaption is more proved than evolution .

I would love to discuss the theory with you , but my English language is poor when it comes to science

before I end this post , what makes say that is not my religion , it's my own belief that humans mustn't stop searching and developing , a hundred year ago if you told a person that a day will come and humans will be able to commuincaite through a piece of metal , he would tell you that you're maybe right , and if you told a person who lived two hundred years ago , he would tell that you're insane
but we did it , and we can't imagine what will happen in the future ,
we shouldn't be strict with our ideas when it comes to science, they must be open-minded we shouldn't consider something as a fact , because it might change

I'm Christian and I believe in God. I'm just not a very religious person. If someone doesn't agree, whatever.
