Who says the world is becoming overpopulated? We're only expecting another 4 billion people before the population levels off and all of those are in china and africa anyway, Africa particularly with it's mass underdevelopment (compared to all the other continents in the world) but it will catch up. This wouldn't really put a strain on any resources other than fossil fuels but by the time we reach the 11 billion level off point I'm pretty certain there will be viable renewable or nuclear alternatives.
This thread is totally misinformed and the some of the posts I've seen some users make are quite frankly worrying.
