What is your impression on people who love hentai?

People in almost all societies to this day fear exclusion. If you don't fit in and don't have similar standards and values as the majority, then you may be targeted. That's how it works, that's why people are afraid to voice their true opinions publically on most debates. This applies to many things such as cirriculum in the education systems in schools on the local levels and politics. In this case, an "uncommon" interest (Outside of Japan) in a portion of a different culture.

Its ok to love hentai and I know since they need to watch hentai themselves to understand us.... its just like normal porn only animated.. ok except the wizards and monsters and stuff LOL XD

I think the stigma comes from the tentacle rape porn that is out there. It cause people to go and say hentai equals tentacle rape

Whats socially acceptable to some may not be to others... and if the others look down upon it they can grow up and deal with it, they don't have to enjoy it they just have to realize it doesn't make a person "bad" if they look at it. oh and reinard loli is technically legal, just highly looked down upon, thou they might have changed laws on it, haven't looked at laws involving it recently.

I completely agree, you know there is only one other subject Googled more than pornography, World of Warcraft. So it is safe to say, the majority of adults and even young adults divulge in pornography. So it's safe to say that nobody should really be ashamed of liking porn. Hentai is just a sub-genre of porn, nothing to be ashamed of. Hentai isn't anywhere near as bad as some of that German porn, that's some f*cked up stuff.

Using hentai...and porn... is like pooping.

Intellectually, I'm not in the least bothered by people doing it. I'd go so far as to say it's normal. Natural.

But if you tell me graphic stories about your personal experiences, I'll get grossed out. Maybe if we're friends, if we're close, I'll take in an anecdote that skirts over the mechanical details while addressing remarkable differences from your normal experience. I feel that the majority of the population find us disgusting because we like hentai, but I think this is just because they don't know hentai like we do. It's just like gay people, they used to be so hated, but today more and more people are getting to know them better and accepting them. I know this for a fact because most of my friends found it very disgusting at first when they found out I like hentai, but overtime they have actually been more accepting to it, though they still won't look at it.

I think the reason those people are saying that is due to fear, because in hentai or porn but mainly hentai, there are a lot of it pertaining little girls having sex and NTR/Forced and whatnot and since some of them do happen they might think its due to Hentai or porn..

However I personally think people who like hentai arent disgusting or bad people as long as they know how to control and see things in both reality and fantasy perspective.

Well every person have different point of views when other people actually criticize they only see the bad parts of it like rape,tentacle etc.

But people have different fetishes that we can find in hentai that's why people like it.To me criticize hentai when you actually seen what the whole of it.

For what I see it. People should like what they like. No one should have the right to judge them as long as they are correct on what they are doing and not harming anyone else. But taking it a bit too far (for example Bestially) should be informed of what is it they are doing and be asked to stop. And if they did not then they must be forced to stop.

Well hentai is an exaggerated porn to begin with. and watching it is kinda funny, and kinda refreshing.

Allot of people see hentai as taboo compared to real porn. My impression on people is based on character. I guess from all of the stereotypes off certain individuals that is how the whole world judges those who like hentai. Not all of us are fat and ugly no life people. I like hentai but i will never like it to the extreme like some people do. I like reading it but i hate watching it. It just takes one to make all of us look bad.

In the area of anime fans Jacob got us covered so we don't get hate from anime fans... but the problem is about the world.

I believe it is someone who enjoys seeing the amazing art and stories of another person. It probably takes several months for people to do this, and people who love hentai, even if they are addicts or creeps, also enjoy the artwork which brings them much pleasure.
