Well, people are always going to look down on something, and since facination with ficticious things looks bad, they don't like it.
As a hentai lover myself, i like everyone who love hentai. But, there is variation in the hentai-lover population. Like in anything, there is mild and there is hardcore. Its all just a matter of preference.

I say it depends on what type of hentai genre. But hentai in general, nothing over the top, i wouldn't judge someone over that. My impression on someone comes from their character.

It's all a matter of preference. I really don't mind people who do love it, and I really don't understand why are people so opposed to it.
People have different type of things that "turn them on," and for a girl like myself, I do think that hentai is something that I think turns me on.

i know some people who like it to some extent, and even though I have nothing against it myself(durr), I can imagine why the general public look upon watching hentai as a crime/really bad thing someplaces.

Honestly, I think it's the same as porn, but in 2D. Except with hentai, there's a good storyline and sometimes it's better to look sometimes.

You like what you like. Who cares what others may think of you because more than likely you'll find someone else who is into the same things that you are into. Sure the general public may see you as a disgusting pervert but watch them behind closed doors and they may be something worse.
