man ive still have yet to beat the first(bought a bunch of games at the time and lost motivation to beat it half way through -_-, i gotta buy 1 game at a time if i plan to beat it) and buy the second and there already on a third, i really need a job >_<...
we don't know yet since there's no official announcement, but everyone is crossing their fingers s for it.
Everyone is also crossing their other fingers and toes that if it is localized, that NISA doesn't fuck it up as badly as AT2. (Though I hear that, sans name changing, they did a good job on Sakura Wars 5.)
Well in an interview one of the higher-ups of NISA was expressing how sad he was that the NTSC version of Ar tonelico 2 went bad, I trust them to put their all into 3.
Only concern I have is that Bandai/Namco bought out Gust, and may not elect for a localization.
I'm not sure. All I know is Gust isn't credited in the OP, only Bandai/Namco and Banpresto. (Unless Gust changed their logo to the third one shown) Either way I doubt Bandai/Namco will opt to let another company handle localization, and if they don't elect to do it themselves, then it's bad news.
Let's see ... AT2 was published by Banpresto. Banpresto was then bought out by Namco Bandai. AT3 was published by Namco Bandai under the Banpresto label. And Gust did not have their logo on the Japanese version of AT2 either. And besides all that, the only games I remember Namco Bandai withholding a localization is their own in-house-developed "Tales of" series. I also think there have been instances where games published in Japan by Namco Bandai have been localized by other publishers.
Well the game finally came out, and my friend got me a copy, (since he actually owns me a substantial amount of money) special edition. Though I still don't have a PS3 ^^;
I think all Ar tonelico 3's right now are special editions. That aside, I just started the game. A few hours in to the game, and I gotta say that I love the animation in this one (especially in the cosmosphere scenes). The multiple personality bit also takes the game to a whole new level. Though tbh i feel that the story quality lowered a couple of pegs since the second game. All in all, its a fun game, and definitely worth the buy! :)
