I had the same problem because my xp isnt legal so i dont really exactly have the disks so i couldn't play any games until i found a great program called NTLEA it lets you play games without the non unicode settings and its really easy to use just google it and you can play the game huzzah for correcting problems! this response is like a week old but it might help others

I was wondering if anyone might know why I can't seem to install the translation patch.

I'm getting some error whenever i try to open the game

I cant read it but it starts with [2100] how do I fix this? And what is this 'applocale' thing i need to do?

Did you unrar the Chaos_head_antifailpatch.zip to the installation directory?
After you extract it, do not touch the "Do_not_Touch.rar" and run the batch file. There is a quistion you have to answer regarding their license, after you anwer tat correctly, it should be done.



Its a requirement to play most of the VNs here.

Either you change you regional setting for to japanese
Or you use applocale software to play it.

But i recommend you just change to the regional settings to japanese

I did exactly that but when I start the game it's still in Japanese. Also when it asks me if I see some sort of back-up folder, I never do not even after the installation.

Okay I got the game working, it didnt have to do with the regional thing, it had to do with the guide not telling me to put it in the nitro cache.


I think i have the same problem as the other guy now, the game is still in Japanese, I've extracted the 'translation' stuff and used the antifail wtv in there but its still untranslated.

I havent downloaded these "CG packs" am I meant to? I thought they were just a neccessity.


EDITT: Okay I've made a mysterious discovery. So when the antithingy asks if you have a thingy_backup folder and them spazzes if you already do and then doesnt actually do anything. Well I decided to put the two files it questioned about INTO the something_backup folder, and now the game starts in english finally!...BUT it only shows the 'Warning' screen about the gore and stuff, in english, but then it just gets stuck there, I can't even exit the game cuz when I hit the 'X' the 'Close the Game?' thing comes up with no icons so I cant actually close it. Help!


EDITT: *sigh* Okay, I'll see where this goes...What I just did now was download the CG packs, and I started manually transferring those files over (even though the guide never said to do this) but as I was doing this, I noticed that SOME of the things in those CG packs are in japanese, and they would replace a lot of english icons, Wow, thanks for not warning us...Anyways, I MIGHT have managed to save most of the english files and so I stopped replacing, and I've moved the two files into the something_backup folder, and now the games appears to be working fine when I start it up, its translated and it loads, I'll jsut have to see how far it goes before crashing. I still dont understand what it is I did to fix it, although I will say that a lot of the files in the CG packs are definately missing from the translation...

Gosh I hope this 'mysterious mystery' doesnt turn out to be a 'government conspiracy', thats such a killjoy.
And wow, what a surprise *sigh* another japanese anime thing with countless suck-uping to america, woohoo...

I'm only a few chapters in, The protag has started trusting the rimi girl, what an idiot. I haven't completed the game and i can already guess its a no brainer to not trust that pink-haired tramp. I thought the protag was smart in his decisions but trsuting rimi despite the obvious signs?!
1. The fact that she randomly 'appeared', and the Protag, despite being shown to be smart, can't seem to put 2 and 2 together when he knows that people can alter peoples memories.
2. Demanding to know what the blonde girl said who seems to have similarities to the protag
3. Trying to convince Protag to toss his Di-Sword away. Out of EVERYTHING in his room, she ONLY enquires about the sword, dead give-away.
4. Questioning who the two other people with Di-Swords are
5. Suddenly wanting to know the lyrics to the prognig 'songs'
6. Demanding to know what other key suspicious characters say to the protag.
The protag has been so smart in how he trusts people, even with little provocation, so why the heck is he trusting this girl, who he has SEEN at the murder scene and has had these above provocations (There are probably many more but I haven't got that far yet)? I blame this to a poorly made script, it makes no sense that the protag is willing to tell her certain crazy things yet NOT enquire about what she was doing at the crime scene.

i believe chaos head noah is the xbox 360 port of the game. Just like the port of fate/stay night from pc to ps2, its the same with some added features

I'm raging.. HARD over installing this game. I dled the 3 parts thing, the 3rd part ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT WANT TO BE READ BY BOTH WINRAR AND 7ZIP. With 7zip it automatically jumps into broken file.

While with winrar it asks for the next part of the archive [after using the first two], and when I select the third and click accept, it won't take it. It closes, then asks for next part, again, and again, and again.

Also megaerotic links are deleted, take it out of the post or reapply them.

Edit: If anyone ever has the same problem,just rename the files to chaos;head.part1.rar , part2 and part3. Worked for me >.<

Well I just started playing this game and I'm satisfied with it so far, but I ran into an error: after I finish running away from the pink haired girl who's nailing the crosses into the man on the wall and talk to that statuette which the main character is thoroughly obsessed with, I run into a runtime error. Does anyone else know what the problem is? I followed the patch instructions to a tee so I doubt it was my fault personally, not to sound conceited.


NVM edit: Just needed to reinstall .net framework.
