In what order should I play these games?

and strictly speaking it'll be ok to play kimi ga nozomu eien too, since they both have a similar setting, and akane is haruka's sister. there is no direct story link but there are references to kiminozo.

in terms of timeline, kiminozo should be placed a few weeks(?, about there) before muvluv and akane maniax happens 1 day before muv luv.

Hey I'm pretty sure that there needs to be a "not translated" for muvluv. Though In truth I wouldn't know if it is actually translated because I can't get it to install DAMNIT!!! I get two error messages in a row. I took my parts and extracted it and installed it with no problems...

The files is correct...nothing wrong with the download I presume...

Control Panel > Regional and Langauge Options > Langauges tab(make sure that 'Install files for East Asian Languages' is checked > Advanced tab > Language for non-unicode programs - Select 'Japanese' > click ok, reboot your PC?

Yeah I got that. That's one of the first things you learn here at Fakku. But from what i understand that only causes problems with running the game and has nothing to do with installing it. so that's not the problem. the only thing i can think of is that it has to do with the error message. I know someone here at fakku can read japanese so i hope this gets solved eventually... has anyone else downloaded it and had any problems?

2. install failed, ending

Apparently you do need japanese locale to install many of the JP games, not only run it.

Some may not need it doesnt mean all doesnt

Well as I said I got that done and over with so I'm gonna try downloading it again and see if I still get that problem. If not then I guess I will try to distract myself from this till a later date............ Chaos head... Clannad.... Galaxy angel.... all working so far. non-unicode settings to japanese and restarted... *sigh* this is frustrating. well as long as its only me right?

question: did that first error message appear more than once?

bearing in mind that your first error message signals the failure to copy muvluv11.exe for installation, i was thinking that if this is the only file that has a problem, maybe i can just upload the muvluv11.exe and have you put it into the (default installation folder) X:\age\マブラヴ11

Not sure how that would work. the two messages come up right after another and once they are gone the window closes and stops me from proceeding further and it happens every single time. So downloading it again seems best. but I think I will put that off till I get more time though. -edit- Yep folder didn't even get created. best not to think about this anymore I think. Its frustrating but hopefully downloading it again will fix it...... hopefully.......

oh, you meant that the installer never started and there wasnt even a installed folder? if that's the case i can't help.
