I hear her route ends up pretty sadly, but I'll just stop reading there.
Wouldn't really say so, unless someone has only seen her bad end.
What would you say is common to get a bad ending in this game (sorry if this is too vague)... in the most general sense, I've yet to experience a bad ending so of course I'm a bit curious.
The only route where I actually managed to end up with a bad ending first was Rin's.
Shizune's bad end should actually be extremely easy to avoid, as her route is completely devoid of any purely cosmetic choices like they're present in the others, including exactly one choice that directs you to one of the two endings.
This may also be (part of) why many are disappointed with her route, as it offers no such illusion of choice as the other girls' routes, where in most cases you even get to go through different, yet equally "correct" scenes somewhere along the line. In Shizune's defense, I have to point out that her route does actually do the same, just that this already takes place in Act 1.
Just curious, how was the bad ending you got with Rin? After just recently finished Rin's part, do you mean the end where after the studio, well after the groping part, you argue with her, you select the later choice of 2, the questions pertaining on how you'd like to understand her, and uh well just end up not talking to her anymore after you leave? It'd be interesting if there were more types of bad endings, I can imagine quite a lot with Rin's route, since like I've said, Rin has been like a emotional Roller coaster ride all the way through.
