Did you unpack the .rar files? If not, grab a copy of winrar and extract them to get the image files. Then mount with Daemon.

Are you manually loading the files onto the drive via the hidden toolbar? Sometimes when double clicking daemon files it won't load the iso. If the files were unpacked without any error messages it means Winrar wasn't the problem.

It's "almost" translated. There will be an official release in the future. There's a pre-QC beta patch posted in the last 2 pages. Use that to play it for the time being.

Can anyone answer this quick question, I placed the Patch.xp3 file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\ALcot\幼なじみは大統領" folder and I start up the game with the Osana Icon in the same folder except everything is still in japanese, the only thing in english are the Start New game stuff Ie. Main Menu. I uninstalled and reinstalled and no luck again. I even changed the system locale to Japanese even tho I usually use Applocale with no problems.

EDIT: Nvm, when I dled the Patch the file was called "Patch" so on impulse I renamed it to "patch.xp3" I realized the computer probably read this as Patch.xp3.xp3 so just renamed it to Patch and voila, I am playing this game.

Can't tell from the lost posts but how far was the translation done before it was licensed? Is there any english patch available for download right now, because ALcot was pretty vague on release date.

Translation was completely finished. Lacked proof-reading. Other than that, everything is go. I don't know where to download it anymore though.

Osadai Patch
This is the last patch that has Irina - Yukino - Ell route fully translated.
It has some problem:
1.Ran route have some scene that cause the game to crash.
2.Sometime you load the save ,you'll be kick out (the 1st time you meet Irina,the hot spring scene,...).To avoid it,click your left mouse a few time right after load the save file and it'll be OK.
3.Load the save file but it'll start at the begin of the event (like you save at the scene Irina ask you to become her husband, when you load => it'll be the scene you wait for Irina 1st time come to the Snow House ,...).

is that the full patch? or is it just the translation for those 3?
