Don't worry about the event, it becomes immediate in the kenshin territories when you've sacked them and rescued kenshin, the event is also pretty obvious in name so there's little room for error.
but in kenshin territories i see no event that seem related to kenshin what should i do

i just replay the whole thing until i won uesugi house then this time the purple even is there maybe i go some where wrong last time but this time it is ok already

Yay just finished the game. I think I get it now, every time you clear the game you get 5 points that you can use in the Normal Mode again. You can get extra characters, money, items and etc.

Yay just finished the game. I think I get it now, every time you clear the game you get 5 points that you can use in the Normal Mode again. You can get extra characters, money, items and etc.Actually, no. Every route you clear gets you 5 points on top of your highest score in all runs. If your next run you do the 56 route with 10 score at end, your points will be at 20. But lets say you royally screwed up the kenshin route and got 5 score, but finished it, then your points would be 25 (10 (highest score) + 15 (route completions)). Playing the game on higher difficulty gets you more score off the get go.

They'll show up eventually, just wait for em. They're the last row of items in your item list.

What should I do for my first replay? I mostly just want to build up points so I have more of a choice next time so what is the best route for that? Or failing that, just the route with the most new scenes/an easier time with the Demon Army.

Is there anywhere that gives a more specific guide to how to go about the routes? I'm going to try doing Ran but I'm not sure how much of the true route I should do before trying to cut my way east (I assume going through Tokugawa and Imagawa is the easiest option for reaching Houjou).

I used to go through Kenshin (3rd seal) to get to Houjo. Nowadays I just beat on Kenshin then go beat up Tokugawa and Imagawa and fight houjo in two directions.

Btw: Is there anyone who got to play through the Demon King route? Actually trying it but it's almost impossible to conquer the lands of the Demon King and also very hard to defend my lands. :( I could survive about 30 rounds I think but not really beat the demons.
There should be an event "Make an plan against Gigai". First you should do that an than let Rance fight against him.

Then just find the purple event that allows you to kill him (if you can't find it, try looking in Owari, everything important is always there) and during the next challenge, accept with Rance.

Ok i beat the game with 4 of my units having the +2 points if alive at end of game and all 4 lived throught the game even the last fight but i only got the basic 5 points for 2nd games. Are they the same points or is it a glich?

Dam i only want to play the monkey route so i can see what happens to everyone if they arnt killed off my deamon army. So many plots killed that i want to see through lol

Amazing game! Sad to say I haven't played any of the other Rance's besides this one.
Just finished it after playing it on and off for the past couple days. xD
I just wish I knew Chara Clears, End-Game Points, Objective Points, etc. were added up before the subtraction of the turn count before I went all Perfectionist mode and spent 150 turns overkilling the game, lol~
Either way, ending the game with 200 Nation Pts, 50k+ troops, and an Inventory full of equipment almost makes up for only netting those 5 bonus points~

Ermm i think i need some advice on the game, i have played through the the game a few times and i'm currently trying to get the takeda house bonus pack but i can't seem to be able to find any of the rouge generals evens after i "assassinated" their leader. after i took over the tekeda house i went on to attack,in this order Hojo,tenshi,youkai, tanegashi, current engaging mori house. But never once did i encounter any of the takeda generals. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to wait b4 i attack so that the generals can be recruited by the various houses?

Edit: ok i managed to grind out all the generals at turn 235 but dam the first general took dam long to appear, he appeared on turn 142 with shimazu house for me
