Sengoku Rance

Doesn't look bad at all, I actually downloaded it, but when I tried to install it, it says, that there was an error in the movie thingy, so I couldn't played it. Can someone tell me what went wrong?

Ok i give im in a two front war with the demon army and the youkai nation, and i got all but 2 of the youkai's cities in the frist area and i run up against a queen unit* the one with one eye* and a weird guy* his name is Moscow Fuyus * that has almost 7k units my maxium unit is like 2400. how do i win?

Did you remember to capture Akashi (the teal haired kid with the nuhes?), 'cause you pretty much can't unless you did and he has Hibachi (the one eye can't be captured without this condition IIRC). Well okay, you can win but you're going to get destroyed by masamune later on.

I have one queen captured so far orime. I have the kid ruler Akaski Kazemaru, the one with the nues yes.

Okay good, get him to trust and have him get his special ability (hibachi) through the event. If you don't mind, get him to 6 stats too because when he gets hibachi he gets +2 to all stats under 7 (though at this point, if your getting the youkai, it's a bit of extra effort that won't really change much). When you have it, you can beat the cyclops girl and capture her (remember, you don't need to win to get her). You can't do much about the huge spearman guy, just kill everyone else and push the meter when the next battle rolls around (once you get hibachi).

Yes i got just about everyone that i can up till this point save the monk with the sythe. I have the nue and through geting him to trust me gave her back. Im siting at the choise power up for him screen atm. But i can find that ability.

So yeah pretty much with the way I played I probably won't end up getting anything good, but here's where I'm at now.

- All characters are pretty decent. (Rance: lv 61 Ranmaru: lv 40 etc)
- Total number of troops: 32140
- Number of Action Fans: 5
- Got a couple of good items (weapons and other assist items)
Such as: Brute Photo, Exclusive Nurse, Popularity Staff, Murasame, Dragonfly Cutter, SouSou Poison Dagger, Ryuuguu Sword, Blue Seal Case, Pain Point Helm, etc.
- Turn 190 with 442716 gold (yeah I know...)
- Allied with Asai, Iga and Tokugawa Family.
- Cleared all of the dungeons that I can do.
- Kopa Mercenaries and Ketou attacks neighboring countries once per turn each, but does not take over the last site.

Basically the way I played was the normal route through the beginning. Always do Reinforcements, I forgot the name but you do one of the first option which should give you Rizna, a strong mage. Then you choose the second option from there. I tried clicking the first one a few times and didn't get much of anything good. But I may be wrong so yeah. Play normally through the first part of the game, and when Nobu goes all badass evil dude, it'll ask if you want to attack him or not yet. I chose to wait and wait, getting my troops buffed up, adding more troops, clearing dungeons and so on. Then I realized that this slows down the game and all that's left for you to do is just take your time adding more troops and so on.

Now I'm still just taking my time getting all my people stronger before I actually attack Nobu, then when I do I'll start taking over other countries rather quickly and get my Power up. Note: Having more Cost than Power is a very bad sign. You need to keep it within a distance of each other so you can use it for things such as recruiting from the prison or covert actions (which I have found to be quite useful)

I'll add more in the time that I play, once I figure out exactly when I should proceed with the story.

Don't worry about the event, it becomes immediate in the kenshin territories when you've sacked them and rescued kenshin, the event is also pretty obvious in name so there's little room for error.

btw I don't think you can to the "Kill the monkey" route if you haven't clear the game at least once (that I what I have heard)

Quick question about clearing the game, when you do clear it do you get to keep some things or do you lose everything?

I'm going to assume you mean Sill, and you don't.



You lose everything, certain things you've gathered unlock game bonuses that you use points to buy so that the next run through is easier.

I am pretty angry right now and I am not a fan.

WEll, if you try to predict the future, In Rance 8, the first thing Rance will do is probably find a way to release Sill from the Ice. Like in Rance 6, when they was separated, Rance was so thrilled when he found her.
