He had this much HP left [II] and I had this much left [IIIII]. He backed up trying to draw me in, so I went for her Seismic Hammer (Hard Version) and it damaged him, but he blocked it which put him at 1HP. I went for a medium Seismic Hammer, but he jumped it then he went for his Cross Counter, but I stayed back and went for her Thunder Knuckle, but he cancelled out of his Cross Counter and went for his Ultra 2, but before it could hit I went for Viper's Ultra 1 to challenge it, but his Ultra hit first.
Dudley's U2 has a good amount of invincibility against a lot of things, that's why you got hit out of your U1. I'm pretty sure that you beat yourself over for that, thinking of the endless possibilities that you could of avoided the U2 and go for the win.
Sorry for that lost, but you still placed 2nd, and I'm pretty sure you still got some of that pot money to take home with. I still never reach top 8 in any of the tournaments I've been to...
I couldn't avoid it even if I tried and blocking it would have chipped and still killed me. I know Dudley's limit of invincibility with his Ultra 2. It's just that the distance between us gave him the advantage. Yeah, I took home $250, so I feel happy.
I've never been a great fan of fighting games but since this game won me 200$ in a tourney I now find it awesome. It takes time to be good in it though... I won with Akuma and my most hated character there is T. Hawk because his grabs takes huge chips off my life which made getting close to create combos a very hard task.
@ Naoto: just chuck fireballs at him all day, you're Akuma. It's not like Hawk has the mobility to catch up with you nor does he have really good tools like Zangief anyways, so you can run away the whole time without being scared of anything.
So, anybody who wanted Yun in the game, thanks.
Now we have another Capcom fighter that has a top tier character who whiffs for meter and has insanely high damaging (50-60%) custom combos, and that's WITHOUT ultra meter.
so after Alpha 2, Alpha 3, 3rd strike and CVS2, Capcom still hasn't gotten the hint that CCs are too damn powerful.
I concur that Custom Combos in any of the SF series are broken in their own way in their respective series, and SSFIV:AE is no exception to this rule, but I still like A2/A3/CvS2 even with CCs. You can't deny that doing ShoShoShoShoSho in CvS2 with Sakura is not entertaining. :D

Also may i add she beats the snot out of me 24/7 in ssf4.
so now that I have xbl again, who wants to play? I will sugar coat it not, I'm not too good. probably will never get better because I was introduced too late. Don't give me that keep practicing bullshit, it's like learning a new language the earlier you start the better. Anyway I feel like playing so send me an invite.
