Harris chuckled "Yes, it is quite windy, isn't it? that is why they call it Windia. You know, this place has quite a lot of history. . . too bad I never bothered to learn any of it." Harris laughed again. "But yeah, don't worry, after a few days, you get used to all this gust. Harris held his hat down as a stronger burst of wind flew past them. Giving a nostalgic sigh, he turned to Rick.

"So, Captain, where we heading to meet our. . . princess. . . ?"

I make my way back through the howling wind to the ship, and I see everyone standing there, waiting. I get back onto the ship, and grab one of the spare coats we keep near the door for such places as this.

"What are you guys waiting for? I told you I had some errands to run. You could have gotten the diplomat by now.", I say a little angrily.

I wait for what retort the Captain will have for me, now that I came back, after about 15-20 minutes.

"Right, 'errands'. If anything, you probably tried to make off with a hooker. It's OK, man, you can tell us."

Rick starts snickering at the thought, but soon stops and starts walking off towards what seemed like a transparent rail-car.

"Alright, let's get a move on. We take the aero-transit system to the main castle. Should take about 10 minutes or so. Once there, we meet up with the guy who recruited us."

"If it were ever important, then I would tell you. I thought I could find a special part that I needed here, but all they have is junk.... And I was not with a hooker. Do you even think I could get past 10 minutes without kicking the woman out of my sight?", I say as I follow right behind the Captain.

Harris watched the Captain and Professor bickering as he followed behind them with Teal, who was still admiring the sights as we headed towards a transparent rail-car. Harris felt like they were being watched but after a while of thinking, he shrugged it off and continued on, having his folded FMG-9 ready in his hand if they were to run into any trouble.

"So, Captain, can you give us any info about the guy we're about to meet?"

I was still hypnotized by the beauty of the town but as we started to move my mind went back into determination. I promised myself that I wouldn't let them down and protect the Princess with my life.

As the Professor spoke, I began to become very angry. His words stung me, As if any 'hooker' would ever want you. Son of a bitch, I thought to myself as I followed the crew blindly.

It seemed as if I was the only who had never been to Windia. I stood close to Harris so that I would not get lost and I know I would get lost easily. We were going to some place called the aero-transit system, "Is that some type of metro system?" I whispered to Harris as we were walking.

Harris turned to Teal. "Pretty much, the system can take you practically anywhere in the space port and even further. The system is quite advanced for the technology of the time it was first developed, although now, it seems like almost every major city in most developed planets have these now." Harris stopped himself from ranting on as he felt that they were being watched but he couldn't tell where the watching eyes were coming from. His face grew a serious expression as he kept a lookout for whoever was watching them.

Rick looked back when Harris spoke up.

"Oh, nothing much. Your typical chancellor-slash-military-commander trying to look out for the best interests of the Princess."

They finally stepped into the transit car that would take them to Windia Castle.

"Hang on tight. This thing travels pretty fast."

With that, the car instantly zoomed through the rails.

Rick looked at Teal after a while and saw her trying her best to conceal an emotion. He slowly walked over to her, while still hanging on to the handrails.

"You OK, kitten?"

I decided to sit in the back of the car, and just minded my business. Watching the other 3 people on the car. This car was going fast, really fast, but not anywhere close to the speed of the ship, towards the castle. I could see the girl getting a little uneasy, but I didn't care. It was her first time here, she would get used to it.

"Finally, I found it."

It sure was difficult to find the ship the recipient for this message was on. But I found it. I walked up to the "Door" to the ship, holding my coat close as the wind tried to rip it away. I knock on the ship, and hit the outside pinging system to let the pilot know someone was here.

"Now, I just need to wait ... again."

"Oh, that's amazing... My town really needs to catch up to the technology." My voice was dark as I continued to think about the professor's comment, and my past.

I got into the transit car and it was remarkably clean. The car zoomed incredibly fast but I didn't pay it much mind. I was deep in concentration but I didn't want to let it show. Suddenly, I felt a palm on my head again, "You OK, kitten?"

"You know, I'm almost as tall as you." I blushed as he patted my head and laughed.

I giggled a bit with him as well but then I furrowed my brows again, "But...Nothing's wrong...I'm fine." I spoke quietly to him, trying to avoid his eyes.

Rick removed his hand, but had a sly expression on his face now.

"You know something? You are at your utmost cutest when you lie like that. I mean it, too. So, you can either keep being like that, or you can tell me what's wrong."

Harris sat in the transit car, his arms folded with a sour expression on his face and his FMG-9 sitting besides him on the seat. "Great, a princess and a chancellor, this'll be fun." He said sarcastically, Harris didn't like royalty but he hated politicians and military brass more than anything. While he was quietly pouting to himself, he watched Rick and Teal talking to each other, since he had nothing else to do.

He noticed the professor also sitting down, doing nothing, so Harris decided to go and talk to him. He got up and approached the professor. "Quite an amazing piece of work, the transit system, don't you think?" Harris said in an attempt to make conversation.

"Not really. They are a few decades behind the work I've done for the Military. I was the head researcher on their Instantaneous Warp project. I was so close to figuring it out, then they....", I shut up at that point.

I look sideways at the the guy.

"What was your rank?", I ask him.

((OOC: I don't know if I like this scene...and if you guys didn't realize it, Teal used to be a nightwalker, *cough cough*))

"Well..." I blushed and pulled him towards the front of the car, holding onto the rails for dear life. I smoothed out the wrinkles on his shirt giving him an 'oopsie' face.

"Okay, it's about professor Bohr. He's kinda cold to me and it really bugs me. I have the right mind to kick him in the teeth...but...I'd never do that. I feel kinda, you know, left out. I am the only girl and all, but... Gosh darn it! He really gets to me."

My face grew even more red as I realized how much of a whiny child I sounded it like,"[size=12]10 minutes without kicking the hooker my ass...[/h]" I mumbled under my breath.

I looked away and felt really embarrassed, "Richard, do you think I'm just a child? Even with the crap that I've been through, the things that I've done...am I a child to you?"

Harris looked out the window as he remenisced about his military life, "Just a mere Corporal, I was nothing more than a field medic. Although I didn't really want to be anything past a Sergeant anyway." Harris sat down on the seat in front of Bohr's and turned so he could face him. "So, professor, what did you do when you were in the military?"

I sigh, relieved. Almost.

"I was the head researcher for the Brass on their Instantaneous Warp project. And that's all you need to know if you're only a Corporal.", I say leaning back a bit, looking at what the Captain and the girl are doing.

"What's your name Corporal?"

((I'm assuming the ship this guy's at is the Infinity yeah?))

"Checkmate"

"God damit it all Fi, if you'd ever slow down and let me think I might actually stand a chance when we play."

"All the more reason to not slow down, sorry if your poor human brain can't keep up with the superior intellect"

Avery grinned and switched off the holo chess with great gusto. That had been the third time he had lost in the past 20 minutes. He really should see about putting in a poker program, at least then he might get a win or two out of her. He was actually about to start searching the local net for it when a sharp beep went off in his ear; someone at the door.

'20 minutes? That seems a bit quick doesn't it?'


Avery grabbed his pistol out from under his seat and made his way to the rear-deck. The beeping continued all the way down to the door.

"I'm coming I'm coming, keep your pantyhose on."

He flipped on the small view screen for the camera overlooking the bay doors. It wasn't anyone he knew, and Avery couldn't tell if he was armed or not since he was holding on to his coat for dear life. If it was important, he could wait a moment more. He spoke into the mic right below the screen so the guy could hear him

"This is the Infinity, who are you and what do you want?"

((Yes, the NPC [not AI, sorry] is at the ship Infinity.))

Finally, someone answered.

"Yes. Hi, I'm with the Intergalactic Post Office and I have a package here for a .... Mr. Doctor Bohr. All I need is your signature for the package, then I can be on my way.", I say as the wind starts to drive coldness into my bones.

((OOC: Your call, Cammi. I'm giving you guys quite some freedom here. Just remember. This is a somewhat public transport system. *wink*))

"Well, if I didn't trust him, I wouldn't have brought him into the group, now would I? Just trust me and do as I say."

When asked the last question, of what Rick thought about her, he simply smiled. He took her chin in his free hand, while still grasping the railing, and made her face him.

"Honestly? Yes, I still think you are. And I'm not just saying that because of our age difference. You still have a lot to see in this universe, the worst of which is yet to come, believe me."

As he spoke, he slowly brought his face closer to her, while letting the hand gently slide down her side, caressing her along the way.

"Of course, that's just my opinion. Biologically, I can see that you're quite the fine young lady, aren't, Talia?"

He then quickly reached around her side and squeezed one of her butt cheeks, causing her to gasp a little. Rick just chuckled softly and let his continue on its escapades, eventually reaching her...

With that, he brings his lips to her ears, and whispers something unintelligible that only he could hear.

He finally stopped after a while, and left her standing there, but not before leaving a small, playful slap on the ass. He walks back alone to the other two.

Harris gave a sigh, "My name is Harris Whittlesey, I served in the 27th Star Corps of the GUA Army. So you were a researcher for the top brass, ey?" Harris looked past Bohr to see Rick coming our way after he playfully slapped Teal on the ass, Harris gave another sigh. "May I ask what your name is, Professor?"
