For as much hentai material which falls under the vanilla label as there is out there, there's not actually a staggering abundance of works that actually feel to me like they're trying to capture the feeling/experience of having mutual, positive sex, never mind doing it really well, or first times specifically. The thing I love about Hamao, aside from the sweet vanilla, is that most of the scenarios and characters he creates are actually believable. What is more is that he a master at conveying feeling and the subtle emotional cues that go with them. He truly is a master of his craft.
